Gold.
Well, my partner doesn’t read comic books or play video games. She doesn’t like 40K or roleplaying games (not the sort that use dice anyway). She doesn’t have a WoW avatar or like zombie movies. She drives a hybrid car, but that’s hardly something I’m having a geekgasm over.
She does however like Firefly (and she did cry when Wash died). I count myself a lucky guy.

Same with my wife. She's not a gamer, but loves Firefly, and Wash was her favorite character. She was pissed when he got killed off.

Well, I’m certainly not complaining in my case, but honestly, if I was with the girl in the video I think somehow I could forgive her aversion to Firefly.

Mothman,
+1.
(I was actually "mid-quoting" you here to ask, "huh?"
Then, I read your post the 4th time.
Any man, who is WITH the girl in the video, should somehow find it deep in themselves to forgive her aversions to Firefly, and go with the flow.
In fact, any Firefly-loving lady who is WITH the girl in the video, should prolly' do the same too.)

Mothman, call me "Andy," please. :D
No worries Andy.

Thanky-sai, Mothman!
But to my friends (and family) I've always been "Andy."
I think I'm ahead of your "Andrew" buddies in that my first name is not even "Andrew," it's my "middle" name.
My first name is a secret that I only share when required by bureaucrats (who wanna' know what my "legal name" is) and intimates (who "absolutely need too know, otherwise I don't love them!").
I've been waiting to change my "legal" name until both my parents die, because I don't want to disrespect them. I'm really liking "Yongy," at this moment. :D
