This might be a no flat out, but I have to ask cause it's been poking at me...
"Although not driven to consume blood for survival as their undead progenitors are, dhampirs nonetheless know a lifelong desire for blood that nothing else can truly sate."
So as a dhampir you don't need blood to live, but you still have that "craving" for it, or that's how I'm reading it. My actual question is does drinking blood do anything for a dhampir? I'm not talking about like temp hp like vampires blood drain ability, but does it actually provide sustenance or would it just be a waste?

In a strange sense one could look at it as coming from a family with a tradition of alcoholism or drug abuse. You might not actually gain any sustenance from it, or actually need it to survive but if exposed to it you could become fascinated by it. Not even necessarily a desire to drink it, a Dhampir could be enamored with how blood looks when it's pouring from an open wound or how it tastes. I couldsee a Dhampir carrying around a vial of blood that has been gentle reposed (or something similar) who just swishes it around in the vial for entertainment - watching it like a macabre lava lamp. Mostly it seemed like a good RP opportunity for a Dhampir PC or NPC.

You can absolutely gain sustenance from human/humanoid or cattle or sheep blood. Tasty tasty pure protein. Mind, if you drink too much, a human gets violently ill. Dhampir may be another story...
You also can't subsist on the 'liquid diet' alone. My dhampir necromancer carries around blood in little vials for a day or two and sips on them before they go bad, and has a propensity for 'bloodsports'.

hmmm sounds like something a custom feat might fix
Unnatural Appetite
Consuming blood satisfies your unending hunger and temporarily revitalizes you.
Prerequisites: Dhampyre
Benefit: When you consume a quart of blood, you gain 1 temporary hit point per level. These hit points last for 24 hours. As long as you have consumed a quart of blood within 24 hours you are considered to have consumed a normal day's worth or food and water.
Special: A dhampyre must consume twice the amount of animal blood to receive the same benefits. Drinking blood is against a paladin's code of ethics, and most societies consider consuming the blood of sentient creatures unlawful and akin to cannibalism.

Blood sausage. And a host of other dishes across Earth contain a large amount of blood. Drinking it raw carries stigma, and drinking blood from sentient beings is cannibalism. Bathing in it also tends to rub people the wrong way.
Having Dhampirs be able to enjoy the taste and be able to consume it raw without gagging seems cool to me. :-)
