Despite her wounds, the dark knight called Emketta doesn't seem willing to back down and keeps attacking. She steps back and then summons a devastating blast of fire engulfing her attackers...

@GM I just noticed that you had my grease spell fail to Emketta's SR, but as most conjuration spells, it is not subject to SR (see the link). It hasn't affected anything yet as she hasn't tried to attack with her weapon, and my martial allies seem to have her locked down so I'll delay until further notice.

The pathfinders jump on the wounded graveknight but it's Warpac who puts her down with a vicious strike of his waraxe!
As it falls the evil warrior screams in rage and shakes until only the armor is left laying lifeless on the paved stones, blackened and foreboding...
Meanwhile the door on the north shimmers briefly, sign that something changed on it...
@Vybus: yes, sorry, I just forgot to mention the spell's effect, that's why Emketta used her supernatural power btw

CLW five charges Crowe, 8/20 charges remaining : 5d8 + 5 ⇒ (1, 4, 2, 6, 6) + 5 = 24

![]() |

@Crowe
You assume correctly. Since we are spending at least 7 rounds on healing I guess we might as well max buff.
To heal up Warpac spontaneously casts inheritor's smite as a CMW. Mostly because I don't think a worshiper of Desna is allowed to take that spell anyway!
CMW: 2d8 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (3, 7) + 7 + 4 = 21
Warpac prepares by casting his Beacon of Luck and Returning Weapon (Not getting to the battle until late really annoyed him). These are 7 minute duration spells. He will also and cast a lucky presence, holy strike, and divine favor in that order. This means he will have 7 rounds of lucky presence, 8 rounds of holy strike, and 9 rounds of divine favor when they go through the door.

![]() |

Ugh, hate to be a pain, but that's the character.
Mutahir waves away the wand.
I do not need any of your healing Godslave. It comes at to high a price.
He pulls his own wand and offers it to Vybus.
Perhaps you would be so kind? I collected the demon's blood for it's creation myself.
Mutahir cannot willingly lower his defenses for divine spell-casting, even beneficial, he has to use arcane healing. Vybus can easily identify a wand of infernal healing.

![]() |

I've seen plenty of characters be a lot more of a pain than that :)
But of course. Collected the blood of demons yourself, eh? Have you been adventuring around the Worldwound?
Vybus turns to his familiar. Max, will you check the graveknight's remains for anything interesting?
Vybus will use as many charges of Mutahir's wand as he'd like. If the graveknight had any otherwise unwanted consumables he'll use the consume magic items exploit on them to refill his arcane reservoir.

![]() |

Sure thing! says Max to Vybus.
By the way, we need to destroy the armor or that foul creature will reform! Let's take it back to headquarters when we leave, the tiny butterfly-winged woman calls out to everyone in the room.
Max will use her constant detect magic around the whole room, including the grave knight's remains. If anything magical (besides other Pathfinders' gear) is found:

When we are all ready to open the last door Vybus will cast fly and mirror image on himself (8 minutes each).
mirror image: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Warpac, how would you like to be larger? It won't make you any faster, but it'll increase your reach and make you hit things even harder.
Mutahir, you were getting beat up by that graveknight. Let's make you more difficult to hit right before we open the door.
Vybus will cast enlarge person on Warpac if he'd like (8 minutes) and displacement on Mutahir just before the door is opened (spending an arcane pool point to make it 10 rounds).

![]() |

Crowe will cast enlarge person on himself before they proceed.

![]() |

"Can someone heal me!? Please!"
Consider yourself healed of 25 HP, I took my rolls above. 11/20 charges remaining.

![]() |

Mutahir will wince as his wounds close from the steaming of the spell and the smell of sulfur.
Not recently... however, I am a Pure Legionare. My job entails hunting cults down. While everyone throws a fit about Rahadoumi kicking out their precious gods, they forget we do the same for the godslaves of both good and evil deity's.
He gets a wicked grin.
Usually, the good ones bow their head, take a chastisement, and are shipped out on the next ship to one of the great cities where their faith will be welcome. The bad ones? For some odd reason, they seem to object to that a lot more fervently... I do not minding using my blade to correct them, and their demonic or undead servants, in the error of their ways.
5 charges used then, back up to full, and greatful for the displacement.

![]() |

Warpac, how would you like to be larger? It won't make you any faster, but it'll increase your reach and make you hit things even harder.
"Hmmm... That does sound like a good idea. Let's try it."

![]() |

I'm going to assume you are ready now
Even after millennia of decay, this room's decor indicates that it was more important than any other in the shrine. Tapestries and rugs show Thassilonians at work, at rest, and at play, as well as giants hauling massive blocks to construct monuments to their lords. In an alcove at the rear of the room, a seven-sided chancel rises two steps off the ground. Atop it stands a statue of a six-winged, half-snake, halfhuman woman with a Sihedron disc for a head. That same rune glows red-hot on the handle of the whip she holds in her outstretched arm. Thassilonian text is chiseled all around the perimeter of the chancel. An obese man flies 10 feet up the floor in the vicinity of the statue and 2 deformed creatures holding longspears trot nearby. As you open the doors they snarl, showing impossibly distended maws where their mouths should be...
