If I make an Elemental Wizard am I limited only to the Elemental Wizard spell list, or does that spell list just make a quick reference to the spells that are related to the specialty?

Sorry if this was already asked, didn't see it.

Those are the specialty spells. It works as the other specialist types as far as bonus spells.

The opposing elemental school works in the same manner as any other wizard specialist.

You can cast spells that don't fall into the above categories normally.

For additional spells (beyond the APG and/or third party sources), should the subtypes be used to add to those lists?

For example: with an Air Elemental Wizard should the pretense of the "Air" or "Electricity" sub-types make then specialty spells?

Likewise, would the presence of the "Acid" or "Earth" sub-types make them prohibited?
