Work is going to be taking me out to San Francisco in a couple of weeks, and I was hoping some of you might be able to suggest a few good used bookstores and/or a gaming shop that I might check out on my trip.
Thanks in advance.
Yo.
Welcome to the Bay Area. We don't have a dedicated store that offers PFS play (yet), but several in the surrounding areas.
You can find a complete list of locations on the BAPS Yahoo group.
There are three regular PFS gamedays near public transportation (BART...aka subway).
Let me know if you have any questions of if there is anything you need.

There are a few game stores in SF, but due to the incredibly high cost of retail rent, none of them offer space for playing in them.
But fear not travelling gamer, we have many options for you to get your game on while you visit this beautiful area! This is our portal for all of the stores currently in the 'BAPS' family.
I would be happy to help you plan some gaming during your visit.
I can be reached at either pathfinder@justiceradio.net or azmyth@d20radio.net

For buying games in San Francisco, I'd recommend Gamescape.
If you want to go across the bridge, try Games of Berkeley.
A little south of SF in San Mateo is Gator Games which is also great.
If you want comics and graphic novels in SF, check out Isotope Comics. Incredibly cool place to just hang out.
For books in SF, go to Borderlands Books. Across the bay, check out Other Change of Hobbit and Dark Carnival.
Depending on when you'll be in SF, FogCon will be going on March 11-13th and Potlatch will be going on the week before March 4-6. Both are literary cons with lots of science fiction and fantasy authors.
