Two things I am really excited about:
1. A massive 20 question interview with nearly every major third party pathfinder compatible publisher.
2. Two "Top 10 of 2010" lists one from Dark Mistress and the other from Endzeitgeist.
Interesting!
The 20 question interview with the major third party pathfinder compatible publishers sounds very cool. Any chance you might spill the beans and say what companies? :)

I'm looking forward to reading both. Sadly, I must confess to not keeping fully abreast with everything produced - one of the pitfalls of spending more time writing is having less time to just read things (I am woefully behind on reading Serpent's Skull) so a nice list of "must reads" will be good to have.

In no particular order a complete list of the 13 publishers appearing
Frog God Games, Adamant Entertainment, Oone games, 4 Winds Fantasy Gaming, Tricky Owlbear Publishing, Dreamscarred Press, Raging Swan, Open Design, Louis Porter Jr. Design, Purple Duck Games, Super Genius Games, Jon Brazer Enterprises, and of course Rite Publishing.

It's a fine piece of work, and thanks for making us a part of the 20Q, and thanks to DM for listing Gear & Treasure as the top of her Top 10 for 2010! That was unexpected and very welcome!
What can i say? I like to shop. :)
I am DLing it now, curious what was on End's list and the interviews.

Is this a replacement for Rite Review?
You could look at it that way.
But I think Rite Review was meant to be more of an "in-house" vehicle. When Steve solicited material for Pathways, he made it clear upfront that the material within did not have to necessarily support Rite published material.

And I'll certainly be looking now at your #1 and #2.
Didn't you write a couple of the ones I listed?
Yeah i was a bit surprised End and I only had 2 in common. Of course I didn't have all of them on his list and it could be the same for him. Several of his others was on my first list which clocked in at about 20 books and I had to trim it down. One of the reasons I combined that one SGG product as a single entry.

I was pretty stoked to see that on your list, by the way :)

3 1/8 of them actually (but who's counting). I was very pleasantly surprised.
edit: I was also very happy with End's #1. :D

Thanks to everyone for their support.
Jonathan has the rite of it, The Rite Review has been dead for nearly a year, Pathways is a very different animal, with original content, paid advertising, in less than 24 hours we have had 500+ downloads, and I really have not done much to promote it yet (too damn tired right now).

Shame for me. Link does not work. Says Parse error something when I try to download ...
Will try again next week end.
I got a error the first time I tried too. I just reloaded the main drivethru product page and then tried again and it worked fine then.

Yeah was just implying you might be a bit biased at how "great" my list is. :)
Though I recommend people buying all of them ones on my list and Ends list for that matter that i own. But the top two where very good. I flip flopped on which one I wanted to rank number 1 over all. I ended up going with Luven's because I think it is a more general useful product. Meaning pretty much anyone can get a lot of use out if it. While Cerulean Seas Campaign Setting is great, well written etc, But it is more of a niche product. If you don't want to run a undersea campaign it is of less use to you, and if you don't want to run undersea adventures it is of not a lot of use. Though people could be like me, in that they never did them before cause they was hard to do and not enough rules. This product changed that, now I plan to run some undersea adventures.

I did want to mention my Honorable mention which got left off the list. I am guessing cause it did not come out this year. But here it is for those that are curious.
***Honorable Mention: Urban Adventures: The Road to Revolution #2—The Bloody Fix – This book came out before this year but was updated to Pathfinder this year. This is perhaps the best low level Urban Adventure of all time and one of the all time.
I almost added Slumber Tsar like End did as well for that, but since I am fairly sure if I am asked to do this again next year it will make the list then I decided not to.

I liked the 20 Questions. Especially the bit with Bill Webb and the offer to get a free signed copy of Black Monastery. Of course, I might be biased, considering that I won that free copy.
YAY! A WINNER IS ME!
OK, I am trying to find more info on Black Monastery...do you have a link??

It's coming out in June-ish. And I get a free signed copy. And it's gonna be in a monastery, I assume.
It sounded interesting in Bill's description in the interview, but when I went looking on the Frog God website I could find no mention of it. Lucky you for getting a signed copy.
I would like to add my voice to the praise for the magazine. I think it really helped to show case some of the fine 3rd party publishers out there.

I wanted to thank everyone for there support we have had 1,455 downloads of the file in 7 days.
1,452 at Drivethru Rpg
3 at paizo
I equate this to it being up on Drivethru earlier than Paizo, Drive Thru making free products front and center, Drivethru's email service, and it making front and center of the Drivethru newsletter. I hope if it makes the store blog we will see a rise in its downloads at Paizo.
Regardless I am very happy with its reception, though I hope next week someone will review it.
