Background music for a chase

Advice

Hi there, I#m looking for a good background music for a chase scene.
I'm giving the chase rules from the GMG a try (although somewhat modified).
The chase takes place in a classic medieval city.
Any ideas?

Requiem for a Tower makes anything dramatic.

Panic Switch by Silversun Pickups is cool and fairly intense, but modern rock, so I dunno if you're looking for that. (See the Sucker Punch trailer for a good use of the song)

Pirates of the Caribbean soundtracks might have some real cool songs for that type of thing.

The Soundtracks for movies like Gladiator, The Rock, and Lord of the Rings may have something for you as well.

Edit: I would go with this:

This.

Yeah, I know that. And have used it already, when the PCs were hit by a confusion and a grease... it was fun. At least for me.

Great idea, that could work.

Sounds great, but a little bit too "dark" for what I'm aiming at.

Or that...

Seriously though, Pirates of the Carib has some great stuff, as do some of the other soundtracks such as The Rock (Tunnels theme etc).

Even the Willow soundtrack has some good stuff, like Madmartigans Theme.

Darbuka (Arabic drum)

Tabla (Indian drum)

Rimsky Korsakov - Flight of the bumblebee

Philip Glass - Powwaqatsi

Stravinsky Dance of the Young Girls

From the movie Gallipolli - best war film ever made. period.

Jean Michael jarre - Oxygen

Silver Crusade

EDIT: ACTUALLY THIS!

I can't follow the YouTube links others have mentioned, so apologies if this has already been suggested. If you don't mind a little bit of iconic flavor slipping into the music, Scherzo For Motorcycle and Orchestra from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is a great chase theme. Or the Asteroid Chase from The Empire Strikes Back. Gotta love John Williams.

Scarab Sages

The Devil's Gallop:

Well, if it's a chase, there's only one option, surely.

If you can find it, the Terminator 2 soundtrack has an awesome track during the canal chase.

Or the original AVP game for pc 1998/99 had a few great tracks, track 6, track 7...

My favorite tracks to use are Fire, 180 BPM, and God Particle from the Angels and Demons soundtrack. Those are really good.

The chase theme from benny Hill is indeed hilarious each time (by the way, thanks, I didn't know it was called Yakety Sax)

In classics, the Ouverture of Ride of William Tell is perfect:

More modern, the chase theme from Midnight Express is a classic:

The chase on the bridge from Escape from New York can fit too:

We played yesterday, and I used the Soundtrack from Pirates of the Caribbean, it was great!
