tonight we don't play our regular friday game because most of my players have company christmas parties. GF has a girls cinema evening (Twilight) *shudders*
so my evening will be TV and potato chips
next friday we start a new campaign with "crypt of the everflame" we will have a new player, first female in the 25 year history of the friday group (I am in it 18 years now, at the moment only one of the founders is still a regular player)

Planning on a new game. The players are all old D&D 2, VtM and GURPS players.
All will be new to pathfinder, and the one player who I have the most contact with is a big anti adventure path person who prefers heavy sandbox games. One of the players is a rules lawyer who hated gurps and bogged down the combat till they were tired of that game.
Let see how well this plays out. I am thinking of Crimson Throne and just not saying a damned thing about it being an AP. I have the Korvosa booklet so I could do it very sandboxish. I am not sure that they would know the difference.

Good luck with the new group CJ
I fear I am not a good sandbox DM myself, I need my rails :-)

An angel who looked just like you was here last night, cursing up a storm!
Was it about Chase Bank? Because they deserve it.
Chase: 1
Celestial Healer: 0
(Or I should say... Chase: $140 in stupid fees that are completely unproportional to what they are for, Celestial Healer: Taken for a ride.)

The mailman had, from Paizo no less, the Horsemen of the Apocalypse and creatures from the Bestiary 3 in cardboard box no less. Eager to get out and cause mayhemas all monsters do, I could n't resist myself and opened the box immediately. At first glance, these are rock solid items with many classical monsters getting an update and several new monsters from Eastern and Oriental cultures.
I love oriental monsters.
I might post a review later.

Besides, it could be named The Magnificient FAWTL Seven
