Something is happening today. Something is wrong.
I feel cold.
I am at the office. The heat here has been off for 4 days and it's on now but the majority of the radiators feel about as warm as a person's handshake(others feel ice cold), and everyone's legs, including mine, feel quite cold. I think it may be colder in this building than outside. Someone is theorizing that there are metal supports in the floor underneath us that are leaching heat from all available sources, including us. As an aside, all of the metal filing cabinets in here are like ice- even I cannot bear their touch for long.
It seems I have discovered an exception to my love of the cold.

Well, if this were the opening scene of a Supernatural episode, you'd be about to die in a particularly gruesome manner.

In Freehold's World, the definition of "inspiration" and "theft" are the same thing.
Also, Freehold is a Weather Hypocrite.
;)
Freehold's World. I like the sound of that.
And it's pretty obvious it's a direct lift, Supernatural fans think me crazy but I have the evidence!!!
And I am not a hypocrite! The floor is leaching out heat from anything that touches it! It's crazy!

Okay I just found out something- there is no insulation in the building.
I am in an old part of the Bronx. These buildings were never meant to be offices, it's meant to be storage, preferably cold storage. It's why the heat is unreliable and everything is frozen solid. The filing cabinets hurt to touch they are so cold. The first person in the building said their breath was misting up for a bit. Wow.

Speaking of deep cold storage...
Wait, if Freehold is actually feeling cold does that mean he won't try to make out with:
Fantasy NPC: Yanthir Ilvernal, The Frozen Ghost?!
I am shocked chilled!

I like this approach to/description of evil, angry at the world. It is very believable and very human, and should be used more.

Never mind all that about the ex-Pope, a walrus has parked up on the front in Scarborough, E. Yorks, and has also started playing with itself in public, if reports are to be believed.

New Year Horror story (mainly for Lisa).
I had bought a one kilogram bag of frozen pierogi. My freezer is wonky so they ended in fridge instead letting them slowly unfreeze over a day instead of cooking them immediately (1 kg is two servings for me anyway). Yesterday I ate half. Today, I set up a pot on the stove, pulled the bag out of the fridge and discovered that under the few pierogis on the top, the rest somehow fused into a singular mass of dough. Which I am cooking now.
*makes notes*

Oh no! Yeah, I can see why that happened. I hope the dough is not too tough to be enjoyable now!

Fantasy NPC: Vholatrax The Annihilator, The Scourge Of World(s).
A cruel dragon-god from another dimension invades this thread!
There is just a tiny flaw in his plans of conquests, though...

I finally found the second half of the seal for the lift of D#+~$ead in Elden Ring.
Which just opens up all sorts of new ways for me to die.
So many new ways to die! All sorts of angry fire belching siege engines, a whole mess of dead ends and these weird frog lizard bile spewing monstrosities that love latching onto my head and choking me out when they aren't spewing bile.
Plus there's the overweight projectile vomiting slag giants.
