That's why I never made it as an electrician. I was an apprentice for a few months.

I passed out digging in the hot Florida sun. Instead of taking me to the hospital they gave me a glass of water and told me to get back to work.

I gave them the bird and told them to go f*@+ themselves.

I'm sure the nudity helped. Or didn't.

Okay, update time.

Spoiler:
I made a payment today from the gofundme. I can't put into words how amazing it felt to make such a large payment. For the second time since this whole thing started, I feel genuine hope that things may improve. After giving things some serious thought, I have decided to keep the gofundme going. We are still in a hole financially, although it is not nearly as deep as it was before. Please continue to spread the word, as the increased views are helping. Maybe this whole thing can be taken care of by the end of the month? I don't know, but I do know I can't thank you all enough.

There's truth in there. I probably would have been more comfortable if I were walking around grand canyon to generate heat, rather then sitting on a bus. That's how I keep warm in San Diego. By walking.

I can walk out in Arizona but not run. Once temperatures reach past 85 I don't think I can do hard labour.

its fine for the cold however if you are about to pass out from heat exhaustion the shovel more thing does not help.

I've been watching DB Super, and I have to say, though I'm tired of them sticking to the "Goku must be the one to win" formula, it's nice that other characters get to shine. Trunks, Vegeta, Piccolo, hell, even Krillin gets a moment of being a badass.

Also, I'm pleased to see strong female characters with the tournament. 18 remains a bad b*!%#, and Caulifla might be one of my favorite characters.

Kale as girl Broly is just f$%@ing stupid, though. Just...ugh. So dumb.

You will look back with nostalgia during season 7.

7 is really hard to watch.

... hhhhhhhhhhh-how, tho.

Season 5 was already painful ("hur-dee-hur, let's all be villains, now, but, no, seriously, we're still the good guys and toooootes justified, unlike that jerk, the governor") and now Season 6 is, somehow, worse ("hey, told you rubes we were justified in being bad guys; now let's kill off <spoilers> and <spoilers> for no real reason in dumb ways, also we, the makers, hate literally everyone that watches this show! And we just used literally wrong: suck it, nerds!"). Just... just what.

Like, I got the premise of 5, at least, and it made sense.

And I get that Season 6, at least, has a kind of a point to it all. But it's a retread of almost the exact same over-arcing premise with the Governor for no particular reason. Like, yeah, there are bad people who will do bad things to you, for power-grabby reasons. And the individual character arcs... really haven't developed all that much. The only ones I reeeaaaaally care about are the two kids, Michonne (who is the best), and <spoiler+spoiler> (and they <spoiler>'d <spoiler>, so even that's hard to really get into).

But I can give it the benefit of the doubt, and am willing to soon wonder why (and how) Season 7 is so much worse.

As an unrelated aside, Galavant is fantastic. I love pretty much everything about it. Even how it <spoiler'd> at the end of Season 2! So good!

To be fair, Goku's wife is pretty bangin, too. So is Bulma. Hell, she's the sex symbol for the series for 2/3 of it's duration.

Best job? Hit. Strike that. Vegeta. "King" is an amazing job. Or "house husband to a wealthy billionare" is pretty sweet, too.

Quiet kid? You know what's better than a quiet kid? No kids. (Hey, this is purely a matter of opinion, but it's mine.) Gonna go anyone but Goku, Vegeta, or Krillin on that one. Also, Trunks may not be quiet, but he is obedient. Vegeta again if you like kids.

Most powerful human? Really depends on if Tien is considered human. That third eye never actually blinks, or moves, or does anything, so I assume it's a tattoo. I know there's "unofficial" answers that he's the last of a weird species, or whatever, but - Tien would beat the living bejesus out of Krillin. In fact, he has.

You combine it all and Krillin has a great life, for damn sure. But - in that universe - it's all kinda meh. I mean, you really don't need "gainful employment" when you can take what the hell you want.

See, this is why I don't have powers. I'd go all Freeza. Maybe less killing. Maybe less blatant. More like Frost. I still say Vegeta wins "best life" though.

I stopped watching Walking Dead after season...3, or 4...I forget. When the Governor lost his shit and killed a bunch of random people because...he was crazy? Yeah, that's the dumbest motivation cop out ever. You spend an entire season establishing that this is a calm, collected, motivated for the "greater good" of stability villain, and then just throw it all away by having him kill his own team because - reasons.

That's not WHY I stopped, just about when. Why I stopped was two-fold:

1) I don't like how, now that GoT is so popular, killing protagonists is just the "in" thing to do. Look, I get it, you want to throw the story a curve ball. That's fine. Do it once, maybe twice - but if you just shred protagonists like George R. R. Martin, we lose any and all attachment to them, because we know they're going to just die anyway. It completely kills your immersion into the story.

2) How many f~$@ing times do you need to see someone you know turn into a zombie before you realize "uh, that's not my friend"? Seriously? I get it - great plot point for season 1, maybe season 2, but after a while it makes you want to choke the main characters for their complete and total idiocy.

That is basically correct. And S7 is, officially, just more of the same.

(Though they have, finally, apparently gotten over the zombie thing.)

I'm forty two in a physical industry, he might as well wear a hat saying "I'm here for your job!".

That would be if he knew anything, or if he finished the first task I gave him before asking what we're doing next.

Yes, enthusiasm is great but I don't like getting asked these questions every five minutes when 1) he isn't done with the current task, B) I already went over everything step by step when we got there, 3) I'm trying to shave exactly a half inch of dirt off an entire front yard.

Ughhh hm, your reasons for not liking 7 are very different from it being hard for me to watch.

Without spoilering anything, I think I just engage with TV shows fundamentally differently than you (and many people). The things you've said about earlier seasons...I'd probably agree with you if we sat down and talked it thru while watching the highlights. But I've never watched it critically, so the Walking Dead (as well as most screen media) exist in a thick haze of impressions and momentary emotions for me.

Which is neither good nor bad, I'm just ruminating on how differently people consume media. :)

Fair enough.

I read your initial description and went "Yup, that sounds exactly like me." Because the first week or so of a new job I'm anxious, lacking in the its greater context, and driven to prove my work ethic. So I'll do a task and then immediately ask for the next; but I chill out after I settle into the job.

That's some grade A bullshit from your PCP TS.

If she's/he's really that stumped about your condition it's still in his or her best interest to help you find and/or get in contact with a specialist, who might get to the bottom of your ailment.
No, 'best interest' isn't really enough…she/he should do whatever he/she can think of to help you get better medical help, if she/he doesn't feel up to the task of properly diagnosing you.

Really I wish there's something I could do...or say to help out somehow. But I'm here if want to talk, or if you feel there's something I can do, send me a PM and I'll do what I can.

We're running out of money.

I've been juggling credit cards to stay afloat. I'm trying to get a job but I have to be careful; if it's too many hours or if it doesn't have good insurance, I'm screwed. My bipolar medication alone is over 600 dollars a month, and that doesn't count doctor's visits, my anxiety medication, and more...and I lose Medicaid if I make over 1000 a month. So if the job makes 2K I basically break even with 1K. I don't know how close we're going to be to not make rent. I'm scared. I've been trying. I don't hold jobs well. If I get one and lose it I lose benefits too. I'm looking every day but nobody wants a loser who hasn't held a job for over a year in ten yeaes.

I'm scared guys.

Since you asked...I've done so much it's hard to remember. I lasted longest as a dental lab technician, three years and then again later for a year. I write, I type REALLY f!~$ing fast, and I'm good at grammar.

I worked in education as a teacher's assistant, as a substitute, and as an after-school worker, but I can't go back to that - I had a traumatic psychological experience that caused me to quit. Maybe it may not seem like a big deal to you guys, but I had the primary teacher I was an assistant to tell me off in front of the first graders that would be my solo responsibility next year as a full teacher after I was forced to handle a double class load for a week by myself. It...didn't work well.

I have been studying to be a poker dealer, I've worked in a psychological facility as a mental health tech, I've worked at grocery stores but I hated that, and done more retail than I can shake a stick at - and I hated that even more.

I've got a degree in psychology, or as I like to call it, a BS in BS.

Thing is - I've got lots of prominent tattoos, including on the back of both hands. The left one started as a cover up for my wedding ring tattoo when I got divorced, the right one is sort of a symmetry thing. I've been working on sleeves for both arms for a couple years. I know this is frowned upon by morons stuck in 1950s people with a conservative industry.

I'm really smart. I learn things really fast. I like to read and write.

Ever try learning programming?

I'm so so very tired of education. I don't need a job months from now after finishing an adult education program - especially considering every post-graduate class I've taken has been a waste of money for a career that never panned out.

That being said, if it were a free option (I don't have MONEY to take classes) and relatively short, that would be a different story.
