Scarring my kids' brains for life, one trauma at a time:
- NobodysWife suggested I show Impus Major the Edward sihouette
- We scrolled down and showed him the Bella womb. He was nonplussed
- Scrolling down, we encountered the Sparkle Dildo
- Impus Major curled up on the floor in a corner, making whimpering sounds and barking. As he put it once he recovered, "What is WRONG with people?!?!?!"
They're humans. That's what is WRONG with them.

Not enough dragons around anymore to eat people.

Dating - try those dating apps, but check reviews to see if they are genuine first. I was lucky, I met my BF while PFSing and he's still getting boggled by the amount of caster cheese that I can churn out.
I have a friend who is now happily married after finding someone through a dating app.
The sad fact of life is as we start working harder and later and getting called at all hours to work(handphone ascessibility), our social life suffers.
Especially for introverts who don't go out to parties, preferring to stay in their small circle of friends.
And basically it boils down to probability, the more people you interact with, the more likely you're going to come across someone you like, or if not like, at least can get along with.
If you really want to get out with someone, you'll need to put effort into going to more gatherings of people. Try those with shared hobbies, at least you get common ground.

If it helps, I'm not very girlish either, since I feel that I tend to be very decisive and not the empathic feely sort which in my culture is more associated with guys.
And my hobbies are basically what guys do. Like play tabletop games, computer games... Etc. Believe me, I got a lot of flak for that.

Ah that is so dumb. People that give others flak for having gaming hobbies. ESPECIALLY when it is other gamers. I'll stop myself from going into a rant real quick here.

You know, like people who breed horses rent studs from other ranches?
Sparkle Dildo could be the MLP rent-a-stud.
there are already a pair of ponies who fit that description.
The first one is an unofficial pony who is the headcanon of Tara Strong, who was Twilight Sparkle's unofficial boyfriend, Stud Muffin. I think there are a few pics of him drawn online, but he is not a real pony, per se.
The second is a pony who i know from the comic, a filly who runs the kissing booth at a fair- one bit(the pony equivalent of money) a kiss. She winks a lot and hearts come put when she winks. I know little of her- not even her name- other than some lascivious bronies came up with some headcanon and art for her I will not describe here.
Friendship is magic.

sounds like he made the first two saves and failed the last.
Kids got some stamina.

Tacticslion wrote:There is a Firefly board game. It's quite good. I have it and all the expansions, plus they're releasing a new game called Brigands and Browncoats that looks like it's more of a minis game. I really should know more about it since I pre-ordered it, but I don't.
... but I'd buy a Firefly board game.
I thought this was a joke. I havent seen this at any con I went to. Maybe I blocked it out.

I have read numerous versions of that spell. I have to say Exalted's Scroll of Swallowed Darkness was the all time best.

Introvert (aka me) describing club: Went to a club once (ONCE) most annoying thing I've ever been too. Music so loud you can't hear a thing. a bunch of drunks throwing themselves at each other while awkwardly trying to look like they can dance, and you had to pay to get into this nonsense.
im an extrovert and i hate clubs. The only clubs that i have gone to and enjoyed were gay clubs. Probably because I wasnt trying to get laid there. And the DJ was actually GOOD (a true rarity).

Also note that sexuality IS a rather primal aspect of us all. The emotions we thrill sexually to haven't changed significantly in human evolution. Any romantic contact needs to play into that. And of course, alcohol helps focus this.
Don't generalize. It's both sexes. But #notallhumans.
Admittedly, the more I see how true it is,the more I consider myself immensely fortunate my brain just happened to get wired such as to avoid this near completely. I find it kinda terrifying as an outsider looking in.

I personally like it when they come to me and ask "can you tell me what room I'm in."
"Sure thing! your in the lobby."
I always liked it when they had me fill up the bathtub with ice and booze.
Admittedly, that was because I was in charge of hospitality suites for bands and it was always fun to meet the band (except the Backstreet Boys, who were cheap a~!&$@%s.
Lyle Lovett both knew how to party, and was a big tipper, same with Rob Zombie.

I must say, I am truly enjoying oiling and brushing my face every morning.
I look and smell good.
I wish I had discovered this level of hair care earlier in life. But mom had a hard enough time with me shaving with a pack of cheapo disposables(which have done enough damage to my face, thank you very much), much less a straight razor.
Sometimes its about the journey, but I would have liked to keep my face a bit less...rugged, maybe.

Gonna quote a storybook on this but.. Not forgiving someone is like leaving a nail in your foot even if you weren't the one who put it there.
When possible, try to forgive. Bearing long grudges hurts yourself too.
And the world needs more good feelings anyway.
Usually I get riled pretty fast but I cool down pretty quick after that. Life's too short to bear grudges.

You ARE a youngster, aren't you? We've been complaining about the commercialization of Christmas here in the U.S. for at least 40 years now. It's become a tradition:
- Trim the tree
- Put out grandpa
- Argue about the commercialization of Christmas
Anyone else remember a few years ago there being a bit of hoopla over I want to say ABC cutting into A Charlie Brown Christmas to show more commercials?
=====
TRUE STORY: Last year when I was chaperoning the high school I had to bust a group of guys for talking too loud too late at night. Their conversation? Whether the Bolshevik Revolution or the Holocaust caused greater human suffering.
...what did they decide? That's a fascinating topic.

I hold on to grudges forever.
It isn't healthy, but some things I can't let go, nor do I want to. Part of me will yearn for vengeance.

Charlie Brown Christmas is my favorite Christmas movie. I want that tree so bad.
