I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set this thread on fire...

Unlike a whole lot of other devices in the office, you can fix a jammed stapler with a magnet.

Forget it. If I can't have my UM, my red Swingline stapler, or with the abundance of trolls lurking the premises, I may as well burn this place down. It's the only way to be sure.
better nuke it from orbit to be sure.

Furthermore:
I love it when this happens. I'm talking about something with a group of people. I mention that I like some aspect of something, and get ignored/bulldozed by the conversation, talking about something else (usually something bad--today's example was Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls). Then, I get frustrated, and start venting about an aspect of the subject that I hate. The crowd stands enraptured for about ten minutes while I preach stentorian from the mount. Finally, after the dust clears, I ask The Question:
"What do you think?"
And the response is, invariably,
"You're so negative about everything!"
...Even though I was just reiterating the statements of other people in the conversation, if louder and with more arm-waving.

Haters gonna hate. Ignore them. George Lucas does, so does Joss Whedon... and they're filthy rich! Hell, some shock jocks make a living on being negative.

But... I'm agreeing with people. Is loud agreement somehow equal to disagreement? I'm confused. And really f~$*ing tired.

Stop being so negative. Jeez. <joking>
Think of it this way: people don't hear what you're saying. They're hearing your voice. You can say all the right things and still come off as not knowing what you're talking about, being wrong, or negative just by saying something/anything. I just figure it as a lack of critical thinking on the other person's part, and typically that default bares fruit. Sad isn't it? Now that is negative.

Sometimes, FAWTLY Technology sounds quite appealing to me. We can talk about things that are bugging us in the technology world with our computers and phones and other appliances ... and threadjack with our usual conversations ... and be free of the OTD ...
not a bad idea. I would say comics but Trolls have been invading my reading as of late.

as an aside, I think we have shied away from religion in schools way too much. If only in an political or even historical manner. It is hard to have an accurate knowledge of current events or any major historical events without understanding religion and its impact on history.
Western literature would also be vastly different without the influence on the Bible.
But I digress

Honestly, I know virtually nothing about Ron Paul. When he's mentioned, people always say one of two things to me:
1. He's a religious nut who doesn't believe in evolution.
2. He's awesome and should be president.
I know he's a Libertarian and supports legal marijuana and gay marriage. Other than that, I've got nothing.

According to a friend of mine, assuming the raccoon was CR 1/4, and assuming I'm around second or third level, I got around 75 XP.

Actually they have announced the renewal of the show early for the last two seasons. It has been awesome in ratings that the renewal was apparently never in question.
I just get all emotional during the season finalies, and want to have the next season NEOW!

Unexpected gaming tonight. Should have been great, but it fell a bit flat. Mostly roleplaying session and we were all too low energy. Finally got a combat at the end when I was too tired to even remember what tactics were, and it was one of those you know this combat would be really tough if the DM didn't always fricking roll 20s, but as it is we were lucky to be able to flee for our lives.:/
And I have the evil doctor's appt in the morning. The every other year physical. The one that includes a blood test that I have to fast before. Slight catch. I'm hypoglycemic. Nothing like combining low blood sugar and operating a motor vehicle. Such a great idea. </sarcasm>.
Cranky lynora should probably go to bed now. I'd hope tomorrow would be better, but the evil dr appt, followed by grocery shopping...I don't hold out much hope really.
