You disappoint me. checks out Deathnote on Netflix while sipping Haterade(tm)DUB EDITION- cuz FHDM hates the dubbing with a passion
Oh, why is that? Because I tend to be too tired to want to read by the time I get home? Yes, over half the dubbings on Anime suck, but not all of them.

Dubbing may suck, but Dubstep is f+$&ing awesome.

Moff and others, sad to hear that the situation on Paizo, esp the trolling is getting you down.

I would urge you not to go ... that way the trolls win.

Although there have definitely been times in the past where I have gotten involved in politically charged or obviously controversial threads, and probably fed the trolls, I’m finding now it is actually pretty easy just to avoid and ignore that sort of discussion. Decide what you want out of Paizo ... if you want to discuss political or controversial topics here, then you will almost inevitably be drawn into a s!&*fight. Different opinions + internet anonymity + potentially unlimited number of participants WILL make such topics descend (or at least dip) into troubled waters.

That reminds me...

I had to make an unexpected hour-and-a-half drive to Burlington, Vermont last week (long story). I set off around ten o'clock PM, and about halfway there, I hit a raccoon with my truck. I was so brain-dead tired that the only thing I could think of when it happened was if I was going to get any experience points.

A month ago, a really stupid human ran across I-30 about 100-150 yards or so in front of me. (speed limit 65 m.p.h)

He started on the right of me, and crossed four lanes of traffic to hop the 3 foot wall to my left (I was in the fast lane) and the semi truck next to me sounded like a dieing wildebeest trying to brake enough not to hit this a%!~~+$.

I do find, when I make the mistake of following a thread that either already is or soon will be heading into bad territory, taking a few days off is great ... not only does it clear my head, but by that time there are either so many posts in the thread it takes too much effort to catch up, or the thread has been locked.

I sometimes think with those sort of threads there’s a bit of a car crash mentality. You know its going to be bad, but you end up watching it anyway ... and then despite yourself you get drawn in.

He has gone to the doc and got some meds. Now he just has to rest when he can so that said meds can work. About 6 days into the meds now and he is good until about this time a day.

Its nice to hear his voice again. :)

I will be thinking about him. Pneumonia is nasty stuff.
