Let's have lunch again. It's sad that this is no longer a haven. If my email is whacked I think you still have my cell.

I'll try and give you a call in a few days.

Bad day thus far. Among several other annoyances, the dr's office screwed up and told us wed for the appt and then put it in their system for tuesday. :(
At least they did the blood draw so I don't have to try and fast again.

The one bright spot in my day is that the nurse who did the blood draw was awesome and did it so that it didn't hurt at all, which is rare. I thanked her. She looked like that pretty much made her day. I'm guessing she doesn't get a lot of positive feedback about that stuff. :)

Happy birthday, Patrick. :)

+1.

I love hats. I have a few. Including a very cute fedora. But I don't have any cowboy hats. I think cowboy hats usually look better on guys than they do on girls. :)

Not you at all. Please don't think it is. A troll to me isn't necessarily someone I disagree with. If it was, I would have few friends in my life -- and a lot of trolls. To me, a troll is someone who is a ... well, a dick with regard to their opinions.

I feel that there are actually not that many trolls that cross my paths, but it never ceases to amaze me just how few trolls it takes to ruin things for a great number of people.

I love it when this happens. I'm talking about something with a group of people. I mention that I like some aspect of something, and get ignored/bulldozed by the conversation, talking about something else (usually something bad--today's example was Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls). Then, I get frustrated, and start venting about an aspect of the subject that I hate. The crowd stands enraptured for about ten minutes while I preach stentorian from the mount. Finally, after the dust clears, I ask The Question:

"What do you think?"

And the response is, invariably,

"You're so negative about everything!"

...Even though I was just reiterating the statements of other people in the conversation, if louder and with more arm-waving.

Haters gonna hate. Ignore them. George Lucas does, so does Joss Whedon... and they're filthy rich! Hell, some shock jocks make a living on being negative.
But... I'm agreeing with people. Is loud agreement somehow equal to disagreement? I'm confused. And really f!$@ing tired.

I hate to say it, but there seem to be a lot of really stupid people in college. College really fails to equip a lot of people with basic reasoning skills and listening skills.

It reminds me of a shirt that says, "I'll try to be nicer if you try to be smarter."

Actually, that's not a worm. It's the PMG. As you may or may not be aware, the PMG is a sentient program originally developed to run a pickle factory in Hoboken, New Jersey. Eventually, it achieved sentience and decided that providing the world with pickles and related substances was not very fulfilling, so it decided to move it's programming to another location and concentrate on something much more satsifying - world domination. You, and thousands like you, are all a part of the PMGs master plan to disrupt global communications prior to launching an all out assault on our cities and towns.

Since Yahoo is usually not on your computer, it typically can not be a worm but is rather a spammer who somehow acquired your password and is using it to funnel his spam. Change your password to an alphanumeric code and it should help. Ex: Sp2rt2c9s
