I've heard various things about the GW series, nothing that really sold it to me, but that was admittedly back when it was near-brand-new and thus expensive. Though I do really like the art and the race designs, especially the Sylvari.
I've played a lot of different MMO's, as my friends and I frequently try any with F2P or trial versions in order to find an MMO we all enjoy and can play together. GW 2 is the only one I stuck with to end game content and still occasionally go back to. I feel they crafted a really interesting world, the lore, the races, the story. It's beautiful to explore too, with hidden secrets for the finding littered about the place. Mostly jumping puzzles, they love their jumping puzzles. And they add to it frequently, with a giant Living Story event every month, which can change the look of the areas it's affecting (the main city is currently in ruins from the last event).
- Star Wars : The Old Republic
- World of Warcraft (and again with each new expansion)
- The Secret World
- Hellgate London
- Guild Wars
- Dungeons & Dragons Online
- Age of Conan: Unchained
- Neverwinter
- Perfect World
- Forsaken World
- Marvel Heroes 2015
- Rusty Hearts
- Everquest
- Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

Just got back from a day of psychological stuff, and I have a game tonight.
The highlights of the day (lotta paraphrasing):
Psychiatrist: "I have good news and bad news. The good news is, we found the problem. The bad news is, this isn't your brain scan and we have no idea what happened to it."
Me: "So aliens stole my brain scan?"
Psychiatrist: "Now, now, let's not believe anything crazy..."
Me: "If I were in your position, I'd prefer the alien conspiracy over the malpractice lawsuit."
Psychiatrist: "... aliens stole your brain scan."
I have no idea who the little girl is that ended up with her scan in my stuff, but her parents have a tough road ahead of them.

Another possible source is that she has seen our puppy disciplined (and told "NO-NO") when going potty in the house. She may be thinking that it's the ACT that's bad.
Either way, we're going to continue through today and tomorrow. If she's still crying tomorrow, we'll give it a break for a week or two (or three) and try again.
TL;DR: It's all in her head.

Of course, we're now arguing over who gets to use Steam in online mode vs. offline mode due to the massive binge game buying that took place last week.
Can you not do that family sharing thing, so that you can both play? Don't really know much about it, not having had to use it, but it seems like that's what it'd be good for.

Thank Ebon for that, she suggested it =)

Giving the Ritalin another try. This is probably a terrible idea, but I need to make some serious lifestyle changes if I'm to, you know, function as an adult.
I wish you nothing but the best of luck. I know the med-go-round can be awful most days, but I hope this pony is a winner.

Thank you guys for the support. Having someplace to rant about it (and not feel like a horrid mother about it) helps.

All our games are on one account, for some reason I've forgotten. It's alright. 99% of the time, we're not on multiplayer games so the offline mode doesn't matter.

Ditto. Hope everything turns out well.

Got into another argument with my dad yesterday. Seriously, when people think of the stereotypical "MURICAN," I wonder how much is based off of him. His attitude and comments were beyond embarrassing, uncalled for, and (worst of all) rather loud in public. I won't go into what was actually said (avoiding dragging politics in here), but calling him on it was both satisfying and frustrating.

sorry to hear that, arguments with close family are the worst ones
what is a murican ?

what is a murican ?
An American - primarily Southern American - stereotype. Read more here.
Can get highly political, so please keep commentary to a minimum.

sorry, I did not know it was a political topic
No worries. Think the warning was for you (that political topics often go with the stereotype).
Basically, he has many of the traits that the stereotype embodies. Some of them, I support and don't mind. However, there are some attitudes of his that are unacceptable for multiple reasons. Normally I bite my tongue out of ... well, a sense of futility best describes it. Yesterday, though, I couldn't let his commentary go without countering it.
On the one hand, I'm proud of myself for standing up. It's extremely hard for me to face him down, and do so calmly. On the other hand, he's a "cantankerous old man" that tends to just roll his eyes and ignore me when I do. (Funny, that sounds more like a teenager.) Hence the rewarding yet frustrating after effects.
End of the day, his attitude reflects badly on him, not me.

Rough morning, again.
Apparently, I'm not invested in my little one's life enough or else she wouldn't: have trouble with the potty, get into things, misbehave, hit me, *insert problematic toddler behavior here*.
I do so love when observers give such HELPFUL advice.
Remember, if you do not have a telepathic bond to your progeny to such a degree that you can anticipate any and all forms of discomfort and prevent them so that the little one never has to experience any form of disappointment at all, you are a terrible parent, and we are calling social services.
