COFFEE

Scarab Sages

And, apparently, my clothing as well.

Scarab Sages

Decided to go ahead and purchase the PDF for Ultimate Equipment. Now I'm downloading one copy so I can peruse it during some downtime. It's going very sloooowwww.....

Scarab Sages

My guess it the rest of you awesome FAWTLY Folk are sleeping about now.

Scarab Sages

Oh how I envy you....

Scarab Sages

Actually, this trip has been pretty kind to me in the sleep department. Last night I think I got about 7 hours.

Scarab Sages

It was weird.

Scarab Sages

WOOHOO! Up to 30%.

I'm not sleeping, yet. But I SHOULD be!

SO very sorry for you Zombieman.

Um,... WHY are you working at 11pm? It can't wait till tomorrow?

And good luck finding coffee! :)

Scarab Sages

My contractors appear to be moving swiftly this evening.

Scarab Sages

I think they've already got over 20 shots.

Scarab Sages

Maybe even over 30.

DAMN YOU!!! I could have had a whole page to myself!!!! DAAAMMMNNN YOOOOOUUUUUU!!!!!

shakes fist

Scarab Sages

And, incidently, I'm working nights because I'm overseeing a Digital Radiography inspection. A radioactive source is used, so it's easier to work nights - less people around and therefore easier to maintain safety boundaries.

Scarab Sages

WOOHOO!!! Over 52%!

Scarab Sages

And miles to go before I sleep.....

Which explains the rugged zombie-undead glow to your skin,...

<Runs away from glowing zombie>

Good night? :)

Scarab Sages

Naah, I'm still here. Just wishing for sleep.

Scarab Sages

Stoopid aircard cut out and disrupted my downloading of Ultimate Equipment!!!!

Scarab Sages

I think I'd better wait until I'm back in the hotel and can use my cable to actually connect to the hotel's internet. It'd be a more stable connection.

Scarab Sages

Stoopid aircard

Scarab Sages

Not to mention the battery on my laptop is running out. Gonna have to go down in the tech library soon and plug it in for recharging. Which means disconnecting the aircard, since I won't get a decent signal down there.

Scarab Sages

Stoopid battery. Stoopid aircard.

No sleep for me either gaaaaaahhhh!!!!!!!!

Scarab Sages

Yeah, but are you getting paid good money for your lack of sleep?

Scarab Sages

Speaking of getting paid. Time to go do stuff. Later folks.

I'm not sleeping anymore.

Also, damn lawnmower! Why the hell they are still working after whole week or two of making useless noise.

This sooooooooo much. I've gotten very very very tired of people (including my parents) telling me that my friends are not really "friends" because they're too far away from me to meet or connect with in any other way than online.
My wife and I met online. We've been married almost six years now.

The painful choices, yeah!

Spoiler:
As a latecomer to the thread and messageboards as well, I don't exactly what mental health issues you have which means I don't know what mental issues has #1. Which might be important because on one hand it means she can understand you better and on the other hand it might mean that it will be even worse with you two suffering from it, depending upon issue.

How long you know both of them and how much, you think, time you can spare to know them better before any commitment?

Ok, I might be not the best person to provide advice on relationships...

Sabine says choice 2 ;-)

but in seriousness, my two cents
firstly only you can make any choice, my old religion teachter always said choose the partner you never run out of topics to talk with
secondly out of my own experience, make sure you can be happy with yourself again before going into a relationship. especially if the girls are a bit unstable
thirdly, try to avoid to rush into something to numb the pain or without inner closure about the past, it will not end well

I want your problems =P

Seriously, I didn't see anything about humor. Which one makes you laugh more? That's the metric I would use.

Very good metric, Patrick.

Thanks! I go by this rule, hard learned:

Looks fade
Stories get stale
But humor is forever.

sad news:
This morning, the cat we had taken in when my mom got cancer and couldn't take care of him anymore died. He was 16 years old. Goodbye, Opie.

*hugs Taig*

Sorry to hear of that. You have my condolences, sometimes it seems words are not enough.

Sorry to hear that, taig.

Love Rugby League, 1 player punches another in the jaw. That's only a penalty and a slight telling off.

That sucks Taig =/

So... rugby players would be hockey-players if they came from Canada or Scandinavia?

Blergh. I feel awful.

Well at least in Ice-Hockey that's a 5 minute penalty - this wasn't even that.

I did know a pro-rugby player, when I met him his injury list included a knackered knee and dislocated testicle.

Fredrik Ljungberg apparently doesn't have any tendons in one of his feet. If he wants to sleep on his stomach, he has to hold the foot outside the bed. Which sounds ...inconvenient.
