Blergh.
You said it undead brother!
CUrrently at work, supposed to be able to actually GET SOME WORK DONE while they run the last minute batch of Newbies (Freshmen) through Orientation.
-Oh no,... the police showed up, looking for one of said newbies.
-Had to go get new parking permit for new semester. Or pay fines, for parking in my OWN LOADING DOCK!
-Had to remind band director that they get the stage at 2, not 11, AFTER the Orientation staff is done,...
-SO it's now noon, and I have YET to get my $#!@-ton of pc/paperwork done!
And the coffeee is wearing offeee,... ;P
IOW, 'It's a typical day in the neighborhood,...'

Orthos what sort of music do you like? It's always great introducing people to new music.

"Derek Jarman's film begins with Edward II (Steven Waddington) and his favourite, Piers Gaveston (Andrew Tiernan), lounging on a bed, while two sailors have it off in the background. Next, a naked man crowned in gold kisses a great big snake. If you look very closely, you may detect an extremely subtle hint of homoeroticism here."

Sorry CH! (That sounds familiar, actually) :(
SOunds like the day the AC went out in the auditorium, and it was an all day beauty pageant,...
I had to (politely!) explain to the client that I was NOT the AC repairman! But that the ac repairman was working on it! ;P
And when your having a bad day,... EVERYthing goes well with vodka! ;)
And I don't even like vodka! ;)
(Zinc really does work wonders though, no kiddin!)

Add to my headaches the guy from earlier this afternoon who tried to pin me to a "yes or no" question that had no "yes or no" answer. When I tried to explain to him the conditions underwhich it could be "no" instead of "yes", he says to me: "If you don't know the answer, you can put me on hold while you ask somebody."
It took a lot of willpower not to tell him to f$!# off.

Lacuna Coil?
Haven't heard as much of them as the others, but what I have heard I've liked. That's not a full list there, either, just the first handfuls to come to mind.

I wish it would stop raining in Indiana. Feels like I moved to England or something...
Haven't seen any rain here since I crossed over the state line.
But the humidity? Ugh. Changed into a second shirt a couple hours after I got here.
I brought ten t-shirts and extra socks. I'll be spraying Axe body spray at people if they smell pungent.
I was in the "Creating the Core" Seminar with a full packed room and no AC. Do gamers use Body deodorant?

I'm over at the hotel for a moment. Spent a good chunk of hours playing one of Lou Agresta's pick up game (which will resume again tomorrow). I'm pretty much free for the remainder of the evening tonight. Once there's a window of opportunity with the storm lightening up, then I'll make my way over back to the Convention Center.
P.S. It may not be as humid as New Orleans, but when you get a bunch of gamers packed in one place with questionable air conditioning circulation and some folks with stereotypical hygiene patterns, it makes the psuedo-humidity suffocating ifyouknowwhatimeanvern.

Mrhg.
long, tiring day. It's been one adventure after another, I'm trying to figure out how to get the rest of the world on the back leg for a change. Still, it should be a quiet, relaxing eve.
