Cloud Giant Attack ???

Attack ? A cloud giant has a BAB of +12. And Str of 35 which is a +12 modifier. These add up to +24, but is listed as +22 to hit with the morning star. What happened to the other 2 points?

As I interpret this, he is is using a 1-hand weapon sized to one size category beyond his size. And then wielding it with 2 hands. This would account for the +18 to damage. Normally an inappropriately sized weapon would bestow -2 to hit for a creature using a 1-hand weapon of a size category beyond his own as a 2-hand weapon. If that is the case the cloud giant is stated with out the oversized weapon ability factored in.

Med Morningstar = 1d8
Large Morningstar = 2d6
Huge Morningstar = 3d6
Gargantuan Morningstar = 4d6

I believe you've missed the oversized weapon special quality of the giant.

Pathfinder Reference Document, Cloud Giant wrote:

Special Abilities

Oversized Weapon (Ex) A cloud giant can wield Gargantuan weapons without penalty. Most favor the use of immense morningstars.

So, +12 BAB +12 Str bonus -2 size = +22.
