Swarms and Bludgeoning Damage Question?

So by reading the rules swarms of tiny creatures take full damage or no damage from Bludgeoning Damage

I know if I was trying to kill bugs a big flat surface like a warhammer would kill alot more then trying to stab them with a dagger

Tiny bugs, yes. Fine (size) bugs, no, there's ten thousand of them, your hammer or dagger isn't really going to do anything but stir them around.

I was reading it as the only damage they took was from Slashing or Perceing
