A high ranking Decepticon or a high ranking Cobra agent??
Ignore for a moment how easily each of these groups get beat, due to silly 80s morality.
Personally, while it would be badass to be a giant, transforming machine of destruction, I think it would be more fun to be a Cobra agent. They have some freakin cool stuff they invent and create, TONS of money to play with and connections throughout all levels of society. plus the Dreadnoks, who are BADASS.

It would depend on who I worked for. Galvatron was crazy and seemed to have no issues killing subordinates who failed. Megatron was ruthless but did not blast people with his cannon on a whim.
Cobra Commander was a coward if you go by the cartoons, and Serpentor had too many voices in his head.| Steven Tindall |
for me it's an easy choice.
Cobra all the way.
I would have been the "baron" to the baroness and have easily manipulated the coward commander into doing whatever was needed.
Destro would have presented a problem but a simple bribe to the twins Tomax and Xamot would have handled him.
Thus the empire of cobra would have won.
Stupid 80's morals.

Worse, Serpentor was a bad manager.
"It'll take 2 days to get this new invention working."
"You'll get it done by TONIGHT!"
That night, at a critical moment, the new invention fails. Gee, who'd'a thunk it?
wraithstrike, you give me no indication of who you'd want to work for in Cobra. Personally, I wouldn't care if Cobra Commander was a coward, as long as he kept his staff well paid.

Hmmm.... hard choice. My first choice, I suppose, would be a high-ranking Cobra agent under the Serpentor of the comics. At least initially, he was a valiant leader who could win the respect of the rank and file. Second choice, I suppose, would be a Cobra agent under Cobra Commander. Doesn't seem too different from my current job... eh, just kidding. ;) I'll bet Cobra's bases weren't "green".
