Primal Dragons and Form of the Dragon spell

Rules Questions

Is it reasonable to assume that one could change into one of the primal dragons from the Bestiary 2 with Form of the Dragon?

Yes, but you don't get any benefits not mentioned by the Form of the Dragon spell you're using.

I agree with Ross that it is "reasonable" however by "RAW" you could not do it since it isn't a metallic or chromatic dragon type.

Again though as a house rule I certainly would agree to it.

Technically form of the dragon specificially states assuming form of metalic or chromatic dragon but there is no real point in enforcing that rule. It will require determining traits granted by new forms but it won't be serious problem.
