Swashbuckler?

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

I searched the archives and didn't find this, so sorry if was already asked...In the APG, under Swashbuckler, Martial Training says, "In addition, she may take the combat trick rogue talent up to two times." To be clear, this just over-rides the normal rule that rogues cannot take a talent more than once, and does not mean that they get to select it twice at first level. Correct?

Correct.

My questions are as follows:
Do you get it once?
If you do, do you use it up on martial training to get the use of martial weapon?

The Swashbuckler archetype gives you proficiency in a martial weapon of your choice (presumably the one you intend to focus on, such as a scimitar for Dervish Dance). This proficiency does NOT count towards one of your Combat Trick talent usages. Being able to take Combat Trick twice is just that, overriding the normal rule about only being able to select any given talent once.

Excellent, thanks
