Had an odd circumstance happen in my game last night.
The Paladin, mounted upon his bonded mount in a military saddle was bull-rushed telekineticly by a shadow demon sucessfully.
I couldn't find rule one about how to resolve this, as the bull rush attempt via the spell was sucessful, there was no save involved, but military saddles have a "stay in saddle" bonus. I ruled (after pouring through the books) that the stay in saddle, as worded in the skill section under ride, seems to regard more control of the mount or falling unconscious, not bein forcebly dis-mounted via a bull-rush.
The bull rush only barely suceeded (only 5ft push), I let his INT 6 mount make a reflex save to move 5ft with him to keep him in the saddle, which was sucessful.
Did I make the right call, or did I miss rules for this?
I'm not looking for a validation of DM power here, just mechanicly was there another course to have taken?

Sounds reasonable to me. Nice thinking on your feet. He did move after all, the mount just managed to move with him. If it had failed he would have gone a... rear over teakettle out of the saddle. And I hope the mount got a treat, otherwise he may just hit the dust next time :D
