I mean come on. This is getting out of hand. Why does Paizo keep hating on large herbivorous dinosaurs? Wasn't it enough that they didn't include the Triceratops in the first Bestiary?
Did we really need a pic of the Allosaurus which is basically just a T-rex variant? That space could've been used on a herbivorous dinosaur of some sort.
Tsk tsk Paizo.

But, yeah. It's an odd art choice, considering you could have gone with art for a compsognathus instead.
Personally, I think James is setting things up for a Pathfinder Chronicles: Classic Dinosaurs Revisited book...

Allosaurus had nothing to do with there not being a parasaurolophus illustration, since the Allosaurus shared a page with a different dino. The object of your jealous and anger should have been the tylosaurus.
We chose to illustrate the tylosaurus instead because it's general shape was more interesting, and because, frankly, it's a more interesting monster to fight. It's a giant sea lizard that's eating a great white shark, after all!
As for the decision to illustrate a T-rex instead of a triceratops in the first Bestairy... look at my avatar. Being the Creative Director has its advantages, and one of those is getting to say things like, "pay an artist to illustrate my favorite dinosaur!"
