Premise: An Alchemist is a walking, talking magic item creator.
Question 1) Said Alchemist character, turned into an intelligent undead retains their power...Correct?
Question 2) Suppose a nefarious Necromancer captures said Alchemist (Before or after undeath) and then proceeds to turn said unfortunate into an Necromantic 'alchemy lab'........
The idea, of course, is to give my adventures BBEG access to something that is both unique and a nice 'reason for plot hook'.
I am sure that, in the ensuing battle with the intrepid heroes said Necromantic Alchemy lab will suffer a catastrophic amount of damage during the battle between said Necromancer and said Heroes..
*Bows* Thank you for any time and considerations.

Are you talking about bombs of necromantic ichor that require a caster level check equal to 10 + the alchemist's level to heal the damage caused by it?
An undead critter with alchemist fire for blood, so hitting it in melee causes 1d6 points of damage, with a chance of catching on fire?
An undead critter with smoke-stick breath, creating concealment around it?

It depends on the type of intelligent undead.
A Juju zombie might attack anything living on sight.
A Vampire can only really be long term controlled by their sire.
Count Reagent might book it when the adventurers break in.
A ghoul might be easily distracted by carrion.
Add in that previous victiums of the alchemicle factory will be controlled by him/her, not the big bad, and you have a flaw in the evil plot.

Ah..*bows*...No, I apologise for the misunderstanding,
But an Alchemist who has been turned into a Necromantic laboratory for the parts of potions he can add his essence and skill in making.
Though I must admit there are some other wonderful ideas coming forth from people's musings. =)
Much cheer you you and yours.

A Vampire can drink his mutagens if he mixes them with blood.
I can see him mixing a strength mutagen with ox blood.
A Greater Mummy would possibly perfect a substance that would render him seemingly alive. Tana Leaves, in other words. I'm going back to the original mummy movies.
Ghouls and Ghasts unfortunately are not templates.
