Region?

Kingmaker

Do the Stolen Lands count as a "Region" in regards to regional traits and etc. or are they considered a part of the River Kingdoms (or Brevoy)?

I'd say it depends on where the character is from and as very few people actually live in the Stolen Lands at the start of Kingmaker your players should pick traits from Brevoy or the River Kingdoms (or Galt, Numeria or any other land in the region if they are new to Restov). Would be interesting to see some traits designed by people to represent the region once it's been colonised though.

Perhaps...

Settler (regional, Stolen lands)

Your family were one of the first to settle the Stolen Lands and your childhood was spent working hard to survive. You receive a +1 trait bonus on fortitude saves.

Frontiersman (regional, Stolen Lands)
You grew up in the Stolen Lands and your life was spent surviving, hunting and trapping the frontier. You receive a +1 trait bonus to survive, and survive is alwas a class skill for you.

Devote of the Green is sutable for the Stolen Lands as well :)

Is it mentioned anywhere in which region the Stolen Lands are located officially, though? Or whether they are their own region.

The Stolen Lands are officially in the River Kingdoms. As far as traits, though, the “regional” ones in the APG are not political but geographical: desert, hills or mountains, forest, any town or village, marsh or river, plains, and urban. Almost all of these (save desert or urban) can be found in the Stolen Lands, and urban can be found pretty close—with Restov and Pitax being very close indeed, and other cities not too far off.
