Question on Glaive-guisarme

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

Would a cleric of Shelyn be considered proficient with a Glaive-guisarme, or is this truly a different weapon from the standard glaive?

Also, I noticed that the glaive does not have "brace" but the glaive-guisarme does. Is this a misprint or should the standard glaive also have "brace?"

Completely different weapons and a cleric of Shelyn would not be considered proficient with a Glaive-guisarme.

Generally put if the weapon is listed on its own it is its own weapon and doesn't share proficiencies. A few exotic weapons break this rule to some degree but they specifically state if they do or not.
