Does anyone remember a Cartoon Movie from the 70's or 80's where an Elf king casts a spell on his shadow and it gets animated but it's evil, and it leaves the Castle and terrorizes the kingdome ?
Yeah, the Elven King is in his lab doing experiments and ends up animating his shadow. It becomes his nemesis. I dont remember what its called and I cant find info on it anyplace.

Faeries, based loosely on the book of the same name, both animated by the King of the Industry, Brian Froud:

Hard to find, but an excellent movie.
As a side note, Froud and His good friends in the Jim Henson company are currently working on the sequel to another of their big 80's movies, The Dark Crystal.

Did that have RedCaps in it? I remember them from that film, I think.
Also, I remember on where the PCs (Essentially) are a couple of kids, a talking WOlf and 2 Dragons... and the BBEG is an Ogre about 100' tall. So big that the Dragons flew around him like a crow would you or I.
Does that movie ring any bells?

Flight of Dragons, from Rankin-Bass (the same ones that did the actually good adaptation of The Hobbit) based heavily on the novel "The Dragon and the George" by Gordon R. Dickson. That ogre was just a mini-boss:

Consequently, the movie is also loosely based on Peter Dickinson's book The Flight of Dragons, where he proposes the argument that dragons existed in the past. He also wrote the movie.
