so yeah, i have too much free time at work to think of random things...
so here is my latest. has anyone heard of anything about the potential of a "living pathfinder" setup, like the "living greyhawk" or now the "living realms" for 4.0?
and,
say if paizo did put out a setup for a living pathfinder on an unknown continent that we the players could "evolve" or "develope" through our actions through the adventures played, would you be up for it?
i have more ideas, but alas, i must get back to work....

You mean like Pathfinder Society?
Edit:
Found a Ninja, found a ninja, found a ninja, just today.
He was quick and it was dark-like, found a ninja, just today.
I was fast, but he was faster, found a ninja, just today,
Thus my post will be found wanting, found a ninja, just today.

This raises a question I've wondered about (but might be more appropriate for the PFS forums): to what degree is PFS 'living'?
I mean, I get that you make and keep a character and can play it anywhere PFS stuff runs, but is there an advancing plot and do player decisions in any way influence it?
Yes, there's the Shadow Lodge metaplot and apparently faction missions do influence the grand scheme of things, in ways yet unrevealed.

To the original post, there actually is a living pathfinder campaign in the gamer connection forum. It is for the pbp games. This allows players to keep playing characters when their GM vanishes from the pbp, taking their equipment and wealth with them to a new campaign. It can be found here.
Now you can come back out from under that dunce cap. Goes to show what some other smug posters know. =P

To clarify...you don't take your 13th level Paladin from your PBP that just went bust and bring it there. You create new characters that will be admitted by any of the DM's of the group that have space. and maintain those characters from DM to DM.
