It's up now, here!
Learn about Goblin Markets and their economies, the thought process behind fantasy kings outlawing and restricting magic items, and a slew of less-than legal magic item, from the simply annoying screaming weapon, to the oft-banned tantric ring, and the genuinely evil rod of agony.

Can't seem to go into the product page to buy.
Weird... it was working fine a minute ago. Try this.

Sigh....I'm weak. Still. I bought it. I love it. HOWEVER...
I'm not a prude. But was it really necessary to have an illustration of a bare breasted woman (page 11), and apparently one who looks a little cold at the moment as well? I'm not even a fan of the cheesecake thong-armor some of the females in the illos wear, but hey, to each his own, I guess.
Anyway, just thought figured I'd say my bit and go on. The rest of the stuff is great!!!!!

Let me start by saying I'm glad you like the product!
HOWEVER...
I'm not a prude. But was it really necessary to have an illustration of a bare breasted woman (page 11), and apparently one who looks a little cold at the moment as well? I'm not even a fan of the cheesecake thong-armor some of the females in the illos wear, but hey, to each his own, I guess.
It absolutely was not necessary. I'll stand up and say it was an intentional, not required, decision. Given the subject matter (magic items that are outlawed in many places) it did seem appropriate. Heck, the book even includes the magic version of the thong-armor that shows up in so much fantasy RPG art without the justification of our game rules.
We were certainly aware they would be some customers who would prefer we not include any nudity in this book, but I felt the themes and tones are better served for having it. There aren't many advantages to being part of a very small company made up of just a few people, but being able to stick to your artistic vision is one of them. So, risk that is was, I decided to go with my gut and make this the book I felt it should be, bare breasts, tiger-love, and all.
That said, I am also responsible to our fans for producing something they'll enjoy. So I'm not ignoring your point at all. I'll be making note of all the feedback about this, and it will color my thinking for future products. (And yes, this thread will be one place I'll be watching carefully for everyone's opinions).
Thanks for letting me know how you felt, and doing so in a polite and professional manner.
And again, I'm glad you enjoyed the book overall.

Huh. Looks like a layout error. No, there's nothing missing, that tincture just got put in twice. Thanks for the catch!
Glad to be of service. I was kinda hoping something was missing though - then when you updated it I'd have gotten another little taste of Super Genius goodness before next week's fix. ;-)

Oh, well if that's what you want, I can make up more tinctures to amuse you!
Just be warned, this isn't playtested, edited, or developed, unlike our published offerings. It's "raw" genius. :)
Tincture of Regeneration
Aura: strong conjuration; CL:[b\] 13th
[b]Slot: –; Price: 500 gp; Weight: –
DESCRIPTION
A milky, spicy liquid that burns the tongue and clears the nasal passages, a tincture of regeneration causes the imbiber to immediately heal some part of every wound suffered for an hour after drinking. During this time the imbiber gains DR 3/- (representing the quick healing of three points of damage from each wound).
The increased metabolism is not without its side-effects, however. If any time during the tincture’s effects the imbiber rolls a natural 1 on a Fortitude save, his regeneration causes him to produce a thick, bulbous growth on a randomly determined portion of his body. This causes him to suffer a -1 armor check penalty (due to its ungainly size and shape), which stacks with any other armor check penalty he might suffer. The growth is permanent unless removed (requiring a Heal check with a DC equal to 10 + target’s Constitution score). On a failed check, the growth returns in 1-6 days.
Also, if the imbiber rolls an natural 1 on a Will save during the duration of the tincture, he becomes confused any time he is in combat (in addition to suffering whatever effect forced him to make a saving throw). This effect ends at the end of the tincture’s duration, but returns if the target rolls a natural 1 on a will save any time in the next week.
Worse, a tincture of regeneration is addictive, with a moderate addiction, Fortitude DC 17. For more information on addictions, see the Drugs and Addiction section of Chapter 8 of the GameMastery Guide. As most addictive materials, it is outlawed in many places, though it is also forbidden anywhere the warrior class begins to show signs of tumors and bewilderment in battle.

I like the book better with the tone the art created, so there's one fan's vote.

Many thanks. I really like both the new tincture and your approach to customer service.

Also, if you want more free "raw genius" you might look at Owen's twitter feed (http://twitter.com/ Owen_Stephens). He does a thing called spelltweets (or #spelltweets if you want to search for them), where he creates new spells by changing an old spell in 150 characters or less.
LPJ even challenged him to a spelltweeting contest!
