Archives Searching Help

I'm not certain if this is the right forum to post this under, so sorry if I posted it in the wrong place.

I am trying to access a thread I posted in the Rules forum back in April 2010.

When I searched for "Metamagic domain spells", I found my thread listed in the results, but when I click on it, it just brings be back to the Rules Forum page. When I click on the Archive Rules Forum link, and then type the same search key "Metamagic domain spells", then I get a message saying that it could not find a match.

I think there is something broke with the search function on the Rules Archive page?

I didn't know you could fix broken threads. I won't bother you unless it is important though.

We can, but in this case I didn't do anything. The system has a certain amount of self-repair capability built in.

I've also been having problems with search results from the archives. For instance, if I search for "hogarth glabrezu horse", I get one search result. However, the hyperlink provided for it is:

http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/paizoPublishing/pathfinder/pathfinderR PG/general&page=1&source=search#36

...which just points to the forum, as you can plainly see. There's nothing wrong with the archive thread, it's the search function that's malfunctioning.

Ahhhhh, I think I know what might be happening. I'll try to have this fixed later today.

OK, these problems with search results for archived threads should be mostly fixed now. Ideally the URL shouldn't have "archives" in the path but I think we can leave that until next year.

Hmm...now when I search for "hogarth glabrezu horse", I only get this thread, not the post I was originally finding in the archives.

I'm still having this problem. Whenever I click on a link after a search (on the Paizo site, or coming from Google), it always brings me back to the Rules Forum page.
