***SPOILERS WITHIN THIS THREAD***

Does anyone have a list of the 25 people that Chopper killed? A few are listed in Burnt Offerings, but it leaves alot of them unnamed.

Also, Im working on a list of other potential muder victims for the Skinsaw Man, should the pcs not stop him in time. So far, Ive got:
Arika or Aneka Avertin (Sandpoint Savories)
Pennae Kesk (Jeweler)
Besk, Lanalee, or Vodger Magravi (Risa's Place)
someone in the Wheen family (Wheen's Wagons)
Of course, this would also include family members/ close friends of the pcs who happen to be greedy.

Thoughts on the ones I chose, and who would you have in mind??

I never detailed the Chopper's list of victims, but I did add a Gnome to the list as a link to one of the player character's. Gwydion. His remains were burried in the knot of an old silver oak outside the edge of town (to better fit with Gnomish customs). His name, however, was added to the large monument to the Chopper's victims, located in the town's boneyard.

As to the victims of Xanesha, I used the list provided in the community created stuff thread for the ROTRL. Xanesha's list is available here.

Grand Lodge

Yea, Ive seen that list, and liked the idea, but I figured Id alter it a bit, adding some names the PCs might recognize, to make it have a bigger effect.

Grand Lodge

I would put the Scarnettis on the list, along with the Szcarni connections.

I was working on a list for Chopper as well. There is a thread on just this topic somewhere. I'm at work so I can't really look for it right now. I will try to find it tonight.

One thing I found that worked for me is including a few characters based on people your group actually knows. Really freaked one of my players out.

Liberty's Edge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Ok, so I did a little digging and I found the thread that was talking about Chopper's victims.

That should help you some if you want to customize your own list. It doesn't have a complete list, so I'm going to post my own for you and anyone else to use.

I had to add in a bunch of random names, and as you can see, I left the option for my pcs to be related to several of Chopper's victims. If your players aren't super knowledgeable about the iconics, like mine aren't, you can leave them as their actual relative's names.

If you're looking to add to the list for the skinsaw man, consider what type of obsession you're dealing with. If he's in love with them, have him kill off npc's that he sees as competition for affection. If he wants to ruin their reputation, have him hunt down people that have done them wrong. Just see what potentially greedy npc's you've already built. I find that killing off npc's has more of an effect on your players if they've built a relationship with them. try to come up with someone that your players will miss, but hopefully won't derail the campaign if they die.

Thanks for the link, and thats a good idea for Skinsaw.

I think the single greatest thing thats gonna happen in this game is the stuff with the Skinsaw Man, as my wife is playing a human bard....

Ive already half decided on her being the target, as it just fits SO well, but there is another female player, and Im sure she wont hve her character be homely, so if the other female player completely dominates my wife in that battle, I might target her, instead.

Grand Lodge

By 'that battle', I mean the one where the pcs rescue Aldern.

Liberty's Edge

For a variety of reasons, I ended up only having 2 players when we ran that battle. (We did the Late Unpleasantness as a prologue.) Ironically, the player that Aldern will be obsessed with is going to be the same one that Shayliss tries to seduce. He happens to be the player that we've had problems getting him really connected with campaigns. So now, the campaign is going to connect with him.

Grand Lodge

NICE!

Im still working on the Shayliss issue, as I dont feel I have a good party breakdown for her to pick from:

fmale human bard
female human(?) ranger
male human(?) paladin
male halfling cavalier (riding a baby t-rex)
male dwarf ranger
male ? ?

I know the suggestion, if you must, is to make her bisexual, but I wanna target one of the guys with her. My first thought was the halfling, but I dont know how they could sneak the t-rex into the buiding without Ven noticing, so he's probably out.
Dwarf is probably out just from being a dwarf.
Paladin is my top choice, but I was really hoping to pick someone who she might actually get soemplace with.

As the Paladin will surely turn her down (Im positive of it), if things go badly, and she becomes mad at him, Im debating on having her target one of the other males (probably the halfling) as a sort of revenge lay, kind of thing.

If she does manage to interest someone, I thinkI might have them try for some privacy 'in this tunnel under the city' she knows about. Id have them go roughly to the spot where Nualia conceived, conceive a monster of their own, maybe have the guy save her from a goblin who is coming to investigate the noise, which then leads them to the glassworks, if they havent gone there already.
