You can combine more than one archetype ONLY if the following statement is true:
Archetype B does not replace any of the class functions that are replaced by Archetype A and vice versa. For example if both archetypes replace say the standard Favored Enemy mechanic with a new one, then they can not both be taken.
This applies for any class not just the Ranger.

The simple answer is, "Yes, you can have both Guide and Skirmisher."
LazarX is correct. You can have as many archetypes as you like, provided none of them would require you to swap out the same class feature.
In what appears to be an excellent design choice, Skirmisher replaces the spells class feature, and nothing else. None of the archetypes replace the spells class feature. That means you can combine any of the other ranger archetypes with Skirmisher.
