Major Creation, Poisons and Alchemical items

Alright, one of my players is attempting to say that one can use Major Creation to craft a poisoned trap or alchemical items. And frankly I am unsure as how I should rule on this. What is you guys opinions on this.

Looks like they can do it as long as they pass the craft traps and alchemy checks. I'm not 100% sure, but they would likely fall under the stone, crystal, base metals duration generally speaking. I don't know about any errata though.

I don't see why the item and the poison wouldn't be two separate things.
