I'm just starting a new one following The Crypt of the Everflame Module for 1st level characters. The party is an arcane duelist bard, a druid, and a witch. A swashbucler rogue, fighter, paladin, or some kind of combat cleric/oracle would be a good addition. If you're interested check out SdF's EoF OOC thread in the discussion section, all the info on character creation is there. The current fourth member is unresponsive so I'm feeling for new members who might like the role. I'm posting the introduction tonight for a bit of roleplay amongst the group tomorrow. It'll be an easy scenario to introduce the last person.

I'm looking for someone who will be able to post a couple times per day to keep things moving quickly. Given my previous track record with good players I suspect we could finish this module in 3-4 months. Should my new methods for combat map creation pan out (which they appear to be doing fine, bless you Google).
I do enjoy new board members joining the fun so let me know what your ideas. I only want 4 characters and it'll probably be a combination of first-come first serve, and whoever strikes my fancy. I apologize if someone snipes the opportunity from underneath you.

Could you elaborate on that new map making method?

I used to pull maps from Ye Olde Map Maker that I created for the different scenarios. Then plug them into Inkscape for all my tokens and layers. Now however I'm working on a 2004 Mac Mini which can barely use le internets.
I'm still getting maps from YOMM, but this time I'm using Google Documents to create Drawings which I can edit in browser. Rather than uplode them to Photobucket or Imugr like beforehand I'll just be putting a link to the Drawing itself in my thread. Downside to this is people won't be able to look at previous rounds, but I won't have to upload new maps every night. (Also I don't think the amount of people who looked at all the map files while reading through the PBPs was very high ;)
I like simple easy to understand maps, so it works out well. I've seen a lot of map making programs out there, but they always end up too noisy and it's hard to tell what's what and were.

I've joined in SdF's game and am having good times, but I have a pretty super-available posting schedule and am up for joining any other games that may need a player.
If you're looking for a quick fun combat, I'm looking for more participants in the arena.
I checked this out, but I think I'm more looking for a regular game. Thanks for the invite though! :)
