Spell Combat and True Strike

Considering that -2 to hit is pretty negligible in this scenario, it looks like a magus could use his spellcasting to simply make two attacks with what amounts to a quickened True Strike. This gets interesting at level 4, when a magus with Int 18 could cast about twenty true strike spells in this way.

Pearls of power (1st) are a great investment for magus' for this very reason.

I'm confused. How is True Strike granting attacks?

True Strike (PFSRD):
You gain temporary, intuitive insight into the immediate future during your next attack. Your next single attack roll (if it is made before the end of the next round) gains a +20 insight bonus. Additionally, you are not affected by the miss chance that applies to attackers trying to strike a concealed target.

Spell Combat does act like a Quicken with a -2 penalty tied to it, so long as your action is to full attack, but I don't follow how this gets you two attacks?

And at 4th level, and 18 INT Magus will only have 6 points in his Arcane Pool. With four castings from memory, and six spontaneously from Spell Pool, I'm only getting ten True Strike attacks.

True Strike is a nice spell when you have an attack that you NEED to land, but I don't see it as particularly effective for standard one-handed attacks. It synergizes well with Combat Maneuvers, but otherwise I don't see the Magus casting it very often.

What am I missing?
