Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone has implemented any material from this book to their Savage Tide campaigns. I'm currently debating on whether I should buy the book.
Heart of the Jungle looks perfect for the Isle of Dread. Jungle heart Treant could be one of the Infamous seven. You could replace phanatons with the ape-men. But you do not need to: everything is in STAP, and less than half take place on the isle itself. Still it is high on my list to get even though I am still in 3.5 for STAP :)
I've found this book to be indispensable, but I already had incorporated girallons and other 'ape-men' called Sagoths (from Pellucidar) onto my version of the isle. Heart of the Jungle is fantastic. I also used Darkness Below for Lightless Depths, which I'm running now.
