Anti Paladins and Augment Summoning

Rules Questions

Woot! My GM is letting me play an Anti Paladin! Now, I get most of what this guy is about, but for the Anti Paladin mount equivalent does Augment Summoning work? It seems to, the text specifically says it acts like the summoning spell with a few restrictions but with an infinite duration, although it never actually says you cast a spell. Thoughts? Comments? Snide remarks? Who has something to say?

I don't really see why not. However, it would cost you two feats to do so which seems a little much to me.

Liberty's Edge

Interesting, a paladin's mount functions like an animal companion rather than a summoning spell, but the anti-paladin's mount is worded differently.

As the above poster, I don't see anything that would stop you from using this except for the fact that the prerequisite feat is pretty much useless to you unless you multiclass so that is a big feat usage for a small gain.

Well, if Augment Summoning isn't worth the feats, what would you suggest on an Anti Paladin that's better?

Most things that would make a traditional paladin better. It really depends on what level character you're talking about making here. Two-hander? What Race? i just realized that you could use a half orc's bite attack to smite...

Level 7 human

Power Attack, Cleave, Furious Focus, Toughness, Lightning Reflexes....hell i would take scribe scroll before i took the two summon feats. It really depends on what you're trying to make.
