Something that could also come of this system! Spell creation!
A player in one of my games asked me to help him write new spells, since his character was actively trying to create a new spell (PC personal goal). Using the Words of Power as a guide to creating new spells as opposed to an alternate caster class form of magic seems to be a strong possibility to me.
I'm keeping my eyes open for other uses of this system as well! XD

Most of it is Open Content, so I would not be surprised if 3PP use this as a basis for creating a make you own spell system. Years ago I approached Sean K Reynolds about doing a "Spell Creation Cookbook" like we had done with our Race Creation cookbook and Prestige Class Creation Cookbook. He informed me he was in the process of doing it for his own 3PP company. But it never really got off the ground with it. I think this is a good example of what he might have had planned.

I'm just glad its Pathfinder/Paizo doing it! Ever since a certain edition of a certain game, I've dropped it like a rock in the ocean for Pathfinder! That and it doesn't hurt that Chris Self talked it up in 08 and made sure I got all of the beta stuff when it released! Great reading material while overseas! Thank you again Chris! (if you even read the message boards! Get off WOW!!! Get back to work!!!)
I'll definitely be using Words of Power for a lot of stuff! Not sure how atm, but I'm gonna look into using the words of power for enchantment/item creation.
