Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to see if there is anyone in the Washington DC / Baltimore area who would be interested in participating in my Pathfinder Game. Here are some details.
- Meeting Times: Our default meeting time is every Saturday around 8 PM for about 4 hours. If I am not participating in a game the next day then then we will have the game on Sunday starting around noon and going to 6 to 7 instead.
- Setting: I am running the "Kingmaker" Campaign made by Paizo, but set in a homebrew world instead of the Pathfinder world.
- Level: As of right now new players start out at 3rd Level and use 25 point buy. Any alignment except CE & NE.
- Location: I will not give specifics, but the location is slightly floating and can be influenced by where players are coming from. The current locations are: 1) a private home near Naylor Road Metro Station in Temple Hills, MD; 2) a private home near Savage, MD; 3) The 'Family Game Store' in Savage, MD.
- Pop In Play: The Kingmaker Campaign is very geared for Pop In Play. Basically if you can only play every so often then it is easy to explain why your character is not always there.
- Personal Goal: While I have enough players in the game I would like to reach out to other players so that I can get some variety in who I play with.
If you have any interest in participating or want to ask more specific questions, then just post here.

Cizin: I only game on the weekends, so if you can't came on the weekends I am unlikely to have a chance to meet.
SlimGauge: Depending where you live you could just ride the Metro across DC. One of our places is right next to a Metro Station. Additionally 2 of my players live near Chantilly right now and a third will be moving down there soon, so the game may be moving to that area soon.

I lived in Greenbelt, MD for many years until recently when I moved to Sterling, VA. I have interest in this as well since it is Kingmaker. I've been hearing good things about that, and I want to experience it.
You could also try Meetup. There are alot of RPG groups in this area. Lots of interest in PF lately, and some of that is PFS play as well.

Great to hear from you. I personally love running Kingmaker. There is a good amount of social roleplay built in. And I like being able to run a game where the PCs are in charge. It was also super easy to alter it to a homebrew world.
As for contacting me. Because this forum does not allow private messaging I am going to have send you through some small hoops to make sure that I don't put on my email address for the spam bots. Send an email to my junk mail email account 'tlc_web@hotmail.com'. Put in the subject in all caps "PATHFINDER PLAYER" so I can find it easy (I obviously get a lot of spam through this account. From that account I will contact you from my real email account.
Cizin:
I just wanted to make sure that my first post to you did not come out snotty. I have time to play games and meet people other than when I run the Pathfinder game, but if you can't meet or play on the weekends at all then I won't have an oppurtunity to encounter you.
Rathendar:
If you are interested you should still give it a try on Sundays. Right now I have a player who can only play on Sundays and he is not lagging too far behind the other players. And because of the way Kingmaker is set up it makes a great deal of sense why you don't adventure all the time. If a PC misses a game, then he was watching over the kingdom instead of adventuring.

Not at all, I just didn't get back on here. Happily, my group finally worked out, and we're going weekly!

Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons are a bit dicey for me, but I may try and stop by to say hello sometime. I do occasionally get over to Family Game Store. I live in Catonsville, Md. I run adventures for my kids and friends and wouldn't mind getting an opportunity to play sometime.
Love the family game store in Savage Mill. They have open game nights, so you may be able to sign up to run a game there.
I'm not much into random games, but good luck.

I'm in Silver Spring and would be interested in joining a PF game in the area. What is the status of games near here? :)
This campaign is doing well (37 some sessions) but very full (I am turning away people)
I am starting a sporadic "evil" campaign that is the sister of this game.
If you are interested in that game I have one more opening.
