Total Points?

I might have missed this somewhere, but what are the total number of points per day per class at each level? Or is it going by regular spellcasting and the max point cost is listed for each word?

You use the normal number of spells/slots per day for the class. The table at the bottom of page 4 gives the maximum points a spell of a given level can be (unless you use the word burning feat to expend a higher level spell slot to add it's points to lower level spell spells). At least that's my understanding.
