On the point system the cantrips are 3 points but on the list sorcerers do not have the zero level spells on the list?
Do they just use the zero level words for free, that's not bad but the loss in points hurts.
Do they just get the points up front, like how Wizards can cast 4 zero level spells, sorcerers just get the 12 points
---
Please correct me if I am wrong and just reading the system wrong

My understanding is that sorcerers get 0 level words equal to the number of cantrips they would normally know, then can cast anything they can build at 3 points or less all day at will on the fly.

That is how I read it as well. Its not that the level 0 words are all that powerful.

Ok, on the fly for free.
But wizards get those points to move as they please? Are sorcerers just with out that?
=-=-=- I guess the answer is yes
------ I'm just putting it out there
It's not about the spells it the points, is they could add 3 points to a word for free that'll be a different thing but that is too much

I think you may be confused about how the points work. Nobody gets "points" to spend, the points are simply there to cap how "big" an effect can go in a certain level of spell. So a wizard with 4 cantrips and 3 first level slots can build from his spell book 4 spells that total 3 points or less, and 3 more spells that are 5 points or less. Basically a wizard gets to custom design each spell out of his available words as he prepares them in the morning, but he still has spell slots and not points.
Hmm, unless you're referring to the wordburning feat which I'll admit I haven't looked at in enough detail to understand.
