Old timer requests assistance with online gaming

Anyone out there willing to teach a 1 time session on maptools or open rpg? I would be very interested in learning this method of gaming. Anyone do this regularly and willing to spend an hour or two in a moc session to show me the ropes? I have nothing to offer in exchange except my gratitude and possibly naming my next PC after you.

I play in such a game and it's a blast. Our GM explored the various options and decided on Map Tool and Ventrilo. I can't help you with using the software (except on the client end, but that's not very complicated) but you might find someone who can in one of these threads:

I am willing, but it will have to be a very generic affair as my normal PC is currently down missing a keyboard that I spilled Mt. Dew all over. We would have to use Ventrilo for talk and that may be hit or miss on my laptop. Let me know @ neofax99 <AT> gmail dot com.
