Firstly, you'll have to forgive me because I'm not super savvy when it comes to using messageboards. But, what I want to know is - is there a "cut-off" for how many topics you'll post in a particular forum? Do you delete old threads?
I was just in the Pathfinder RPG "Conversions" forum, and the topics seem to only go back to September of this year, and I can't seem to find an option to go to the next page. I know there were older topics in this forum, but I can't seem to find them.
If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

At the top of each forum, there's a link to that forum's archives (Conversions Archives, for example). Click on it and you should see the older topics in the Conversion forums.

There's a link marked "Conversions Archives" that links to here:

Threads get archived after being inactive for a while. I don't think they get deleted, though; every once in a while, a thread from 2006 (say) gets reactivated.

Generally, we're not fans of hiding our history, so we generally keep stuff around forever. Some forums that no longer have active value—such as long-closed playtests—will be locked, but are still viewable.

This is generally regarded as the first post.
Awesome! Sadly, poor Njorgard only posted 4 times!

My recollection is a bit fuzzy but I think that thread and a couple others were the result of an experiment to add commenting to blog posts some months after we actually launched the messageboards. The idea was that the blog post would become the first post in a thread. There are a couple of other staff-created test posts and whatnot lurking that predate the "am I the first" thread, but it's the first one created by someone who didn't work here, and that makes it first-ish enough for me to label it so.
...And now you know! sparkly whoosh
