When new weapons are officially released (such as in the Adventurer's Armory or the APG), how do you know what weapon groups they belong to for the purposes of the fighters' Weapon Training class ability?
I think most of them would be pretty easy to work out by common sense.

Weapon groups are defined as follows (GMs may add other weapons to these groups, or add entirely new groups)...
This is one of those cases where they flat out SAY that DM Fiat is involved because they cannot foresee into the infinite future what weapons every group will incorporate into play.
I agree with Carbon, but a short list in the equipment section or in weapon descriptions might be helpful, especially for some weapons that don't seem to easily fit into pre-existing categories.
