Khalid moves up the stairs, switching the focus of his judgement to justice, and swings at one of gnolls cowering behind the table...
Khalid should be in X18 attacking the gnoll Y17

Damage:1d6 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 2 = 12 (weapon of awe)

Been treating AC,26 on lvl 2 as V, 19 on lvl 3 so thats 5 feet short as well. I'll treat that as a firebolt on Y,16 (the only one without a -4 for firing into melee).
Nuveril slides past Zaldiel and Linah, tumbling through the gap between the tables. The axeman hacks at her as she passes but the halfling is too quick, rolling back to her feet, hammer and madu ready. Triggers readied attack of first enemy to be adjacent but the athletics check succeeds on avoiding the AOO.
Battleaxe 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 miss
1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Sajan moves with supernatural speed up the steps. With a powerful leap off his left foot, he comes down on top of the table edge. His kick connects hard, sending the gnoll reeling back into the far wall and then it collapses.
Khalid moves up, clearing the steps, and sends a fire bolt that squarely hits one of the gnolls behind the southern table in the left arm.
Haleen moves up behind Linah.
Off to catch the train, I'll round and map update later tonight but feel free to post actions in advance.

Round 15/21
Zeladiel moves into the cramped room and pushes past his companions, bow in front of him. Suddenly, he turns the bow sideways aiming at a group of gnolls and speaks a word like crackling flames. A cone of fire leaps from the end of the bow, fanning out to encompass the gnolls and sear their fur and flesh. (Move to X19 to get the three gnolls at X16,Y16 and Y17)
Burning hands (DC15 half) damage: 4d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 3, 1, 1) + 2 = 9
(Edited move to X19- side cone covering W-Y,16-17 and X18)
DM Dan E
The gnolls within the cone of Zeladiel's fiery spell writhe and yelp all taking the full force of the flames. The gnoll injured by Khalid's fire bolt (Y,16) falls to the ground with horrendous burns. OK I originally rolled 3 saves (the last also a fail) but doublechecking I can't see a template cone that hits the one next to Grall without also hitting Nuveril, which I assume your avoiding.
Reflex 1 1d20 ⇒ 3 fail
Reflex 2 1d20 ⇒ 10 fail
The three remaining gnolls react, swinging axes at Grall, Nuveril and Sajan. Nuveril takes a stinging hit to the ribs while Grall blocks every one of his foe's blows and Sajan hops neatly over his opponent's wild swings, the gnoll nearly losing its balance entirely.
Battleaxe vs Grall 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 miss
1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Battleaxe vs Nuveril 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 hit
1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Battleaxe vs Sajan 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 miss
1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Grall and Linah.
Grall
Grall attacks the gnoll in front of him,
1d20 + 14 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 14 + 1 = 35 damage 2d4 + 16 ⇒ (3, 1) + 16 = 20
Assume the base attack kills him, Grall 5' shifts into its place and attacks the next one with his bite.
1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 1 = 10 damage 1d3 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Yesssss, working very hard to avoid hitting Nuveril, thus my remembering the page number :-)| Linah Jamil'Kaid |
Round 15, initiative 16c
Linah looks torn as she sees the wounds carried by her companions knowing that she can't risk a healing burst as it will invigor their enemies as well. She enters the fray (move action to W17) and slashes at the nearest gnoll but with little room to swing the strike is ill timed and the gnoll parries it easily (standard action to attack: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 7 - 2 = 8 (-2 for partial cover), damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7).
Nuveril
Nuveril hisses in pain as the battleaxe cuts through her skin. It hurts a lot more when she's fatigued. Still, she is in prime position to deliver a ready rebuke if only her tired muscles will respond. "My turn," she smiles grimly at the gnoll. Fatigue round 4/4; Attack gnoll with red halo: Hammer 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23 damage 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 Madu 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 damage 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3; 5-foot step to X 15; AC 17

OK. Grall is defenstrating it in his impulse anyway.
DM Dan E
Grall savagely lops the head off the closest gnoll badly burnt by Zeladiel's fire. Stepping over the corpse of the next he lunges forward to bite the gnoll battling Nuveril but it is able to ward him off with its shield.
Linah's attack is parried as above.
Despite her momentary tiredness, Nuveril takes advantage of the attacks to batter the gnoll, penetrating its defences repeatedly with hammer and madu. A overhand blow to the chest drops the gnoll to the floor. Hammer drops it if you want to take a move.
Sajan and Khalid. Only standing gnoll is U,16 unwounded.
Khalid Al Ha'zareen
|
Khalid takes off after Nuveril, switch the focus of his judgement to protection and passing the halfling as moves...
Double move to X8, AC = 20 (17 + 2 SoF + 1 Judgement)
Perception:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Khalid moves to engage the remaining gnoll, striking at the creature with Tempest...
Move to V15.
Attack:1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 + 1 = 14 (bless, judgement)
Damage:1d6 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 2 = 10 (weapon of awe)
All, feel free to look at the spoilers, just trying to make it less messy.
Sajan Krama Sumna
Sajan uses the momentum from leaping over the battleaxe to bring his heel down upon the Gnoll's head in a nasty vertical maneuver, then steps off the table, his right foot slamming into the Gnoll's head as he descends.
Full attack and 5 foot step.
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (11) + 16 = 27
1d8 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26
1d8 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Do not rush off alone again, let Linah heal our wounds! Sajan cries out to his companions, almost expecting to be ignored.
DM Dan E
Sajan's first strike staggers the gnoll and his second crushes its skull into its spine, killing it instantly.
Khalid overtakes Nuveril, gaining line of sight to the left half of the viewing platform. Standing on the other side of one of the high backed wooden chairs is the armored gnoll from your first fight with the hyenas. In his right hand he holds the odd weapon Haleen described. In his left a large steel shield. He holds his shield up in a defensive stance.
Haleen moves up beside Grall. He'll be waiting....

Yup, I couldn't see how to get all three of them from the first position while avoiding our DLF either. Thus the edit.
Round 16/21
Zeladiel gives a brief nod at the smell of burning blood, flesh and fur and the efficiency of his new companions. "Almah and Garavel have chosen well this time. I guess we are all learning from previous mistakes," he thinks.
Zeladiel advances cautiously along the hallway, his bow at the ready. He is almost drained of magic, but his arrows are still sharp and his aim is still true.
(Double move to Y9)
Linah Jamil'Kaid
Round 16, initiative 16c
"Wait, do not go in alone", Linah calls out as Nuveril vanishes into the corridor with Khalid right behind her. She rushes after catching them in her sight as she reaches the doorway (move action to Y14). "Carry us through this last battle, mother of light. Strengthen your champions so we can vanquish the tyranny of Kelmare", she whispers a warm light envelops the guard room and corridor, soothing aches and closing wounds (standard action to channel positive energy 2d6 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10 exluding the U16 and V16 gnolls)
DM Dan E
Bow ready, Zeladiel moves to join Khalid and Nuveril, not quite seeing the gnoll.
Grall hacks and bites at the two fallen gnolls, covering himself with even more gore which sloshes neatly from his chainshirt. Aside from the silver metal around his torso he is almost completely covered in blood from head to toe. Even Haleen seems taken aback at his ferocity. Yeah they're not getting back up.
Linah's channel washes over everyone, the priestess excluding the two gnoll guards that aren't already dead.
Nuveril, Sajan, Khalid.
Grall
Current HP 53, AC 16
Grall hurls the dead corpse of the Gnoll that is impaled on his sword against the wall with a sickening crunch and screams out in rage,
Karrrdswann, I am coming forrr you, yourrr marrrrow will be mine!!!!
you are no longer sure if he is in control of himself...[
Nuveril
Nuveril dashes across the open doorway into cover on the other side, hoping to see what might be waiting on the other side of the room. Move to T 5; Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 I would waste a natural 19 on a Perception check! :P
DM Dan E
k per 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11
Nuveril moves to the left of the entrance way to the viewing platform while Khalid takes up position basically in the middle.
You can't see anyone else in the room aside from the gnoll. Between the two of you you've basically had LOS to the whole thing except maybe something squeezed hard into the corners adjoining the interior wall.
You do spot what seems to be a discarded vial on the ground near the central chair.
Khalid's bolt is a hit (if just) on the gnoll. It takes a minor burn to the left forearm.
Sajan moves up close to Khalid.
Haleen stays close to Grall.

Grall
Grall double moves to U7, standing in the middle of the hall and entrance, sees the Gnoll standing there, screams at him in common, Wherrre is yourrr cowarrrd of a leaderrr, sneaking arrround with his invisibility again? Come then, dance with death until he has enough courrrage to come against me!!!!!!!
Turns his head to Khalid, a small amount of calm shows through, Remember my death Khalid, Sarenrae blessed us all today...
DM Dan E
Zeladiel's arrow nicks the gnoll in the leg. It grunts, keeping its shield up.
Grall moves into the entrance way, roaring his challenge. The gnoll looks wary but does not respond beyond twirling its odd weapon.
Guys you can count on me to let you know when something happens :) Linah, Nuveril, Sajan.
Nuveril
Busy day + sporadic internet access + waiting for Nuveril :).
Sure: blame me. ;P
Still not trusting the seeming emptiness of the room, Nuveril nonetheless jukes around the corner and moves toward the gnoll with the unusual weapon, although without her customary recklessness. "Where is your flying, invisible master?" she growls at him. Total defense = AC 24; Move to Q 6, hugging the wall
Sajan Krama Sumna
Sajan Krama Sumna wrote:Busy day + sporadic internet access + waiting for Nuveril :).Sure: blame me. ;P
Heh, theres no blame.
Sajan warily enters the room, fists up and poised to leap aside from any blows directed his way, gracefully leaping up onto a chair beside the Gnoll and anticipating a strike.
Total Defence + Move to R8, if you need an acrobatics check to jump onto one of the chairs here is one- 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
AC26, CMD 33.
Edit: If the Gnoll takes a readied action on Nuveril Sajan will instead move and attack- 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31, 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Khalid Al Ha'zareen

Wary of the gnoll's reluctance to move forward and engage the group, Khalid holds his ground, again switches the focus of his judgement to justice, and launches another bolt of flame toward the gnoll...
Attack:1d20 + 6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 1 + 1 = 28 (bless, judgement, vs. touch AC)
Damage:1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Confirm?:1d20 + 6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 6 + 1 + 1 = 21 (bless, judgement, vs. touch AC)
Damage:1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
DM Dan E
Despite Sajan's proximity, Khalid's fire bolt is right on target, taking the gnoll in the side and wounding it further.
Impulse 1a The gnoll swears a curse in gnollish and moves around Nuveril, coming in at her fast with its weapon twirling. It sends the bottom bar hard at her legs. She blocks but the blow is a feint, the gnoll bounces the bar off the halfling's shield and hooks it around the haft of her hammer. A hard jerk and her hammer is pulled out of her hand and falls to the ground.
Disarm 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25 pass
Impulse 1b Another whoosh of air is the only warning Grall has as a silvery axe cuts him badly across the shoulders. The master of the Kulldis appears in the right hand side of the room, enlarged as Grall and Sajan were, his head is a bit over a foot below the fifteen foot high ceiling. So no flying over anyones head. While fresh blood stains his paints from Sajan's shuriken it looks like he has healed more or less from his previous wounds.
Greataxe vs Grall 1d20 + 16 + 2 - 3 ⇒ (19) + 16 + 2 - 3 = 34 (invis, power attack)
1d12 + 8 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 8 + 9 = 18

So Kardswann is enlarged? I ask because it looks like it on the map but his greataxe did medium sized damage (D12). Its a shame Grall doesn't have Raging Vitality because I think with the loss of HP from rage too he might have just died...
Edit: No I think hes ok. Definitely unconcious though if you want to change the map. So Kardswann was on a delay that interrupted Grall's action? If it was a readied action it could only be one attack.
Sajan Krama Sumna
With the modifiers on the original damage roll (net total of +17) the total damage is 49 less 4 from DR (17x2= 34 + 10 + 5. Also did you catch my edit? I don't believe a delay can interrupt an ongoing action so if it was a readied action he'd only get one attack.
Edit: Could be AOO + readied action though. Sorry i'm being so rules lawyery buddy i'm just checking because with that 45 damage and loss of barbarian temp HP Grall just bit the dust.

From his post above I had him on 53 so still mobile if unsteady.
No ready, just a five foot step and full (he was standing in T,U,10,11 which was why Sajan's path was rather important).
