Hello together, and let me start my first post with a heartfelt Thank You to Paizo and what they have done, with PF in general and the Adventure Paths in particular. Awesome work!
Then right into my question:
In Burnt Offerings I am not sure on the layout of the City of Sandpoint when it comes to the cathedral. The number 1 on the map appears to be set in a yard created by what looks a lot like 4 (maybe 5?) wooden buildings. Yet by the description (seven stone statues in the yard between the "wings" of the cathedral) it would have to be the gray thing / building right south of it.
Which is it then?

The 5 wooden buildings surrounding #1 are what remains of the original cathedral. The new cathedral, what's being dedicated at the Festival, is the large building connected to them. It has three wings (west, south, and east). The courtyard is in the center of the new cathedral, and that's where the standing stones are.

Ahh.. I was under the - obviously wrong - impression, that the new one was built over the remains of the old one. Thank you!
No, you weren't totally wrong, I should have explained things better.
The original chapel consisted of 6 buildings, one dedicated to each deity. Now I'm not certain, but I assume when the chapel was burned down 5 years ago, the damage was mainly to the building dedicated to Desna. The other buildings survived the fire and remained in use. The new cathedral was constructed on the foundation of the burned building. Hopefully that's a little clearer.

Yes, that clears that up. One last one: Where is that place where the first fight happens, right after the ceremonial speeches? Is that the brown patch just west of the chapels west wing?
The goblin raid actually happens across much of the northern part of Sandpoint. Yes, the initial encounter starts in the town square just west of the cathedral.

Alright, my turn to have been vague, eh? ;) I did indeed mean to ask "where does it start", and you answered that nicely.
Thank you :)
