Dark Folk in Bestiary 2

Product Discussion

Recently I have been making up a Dark Folk cult to put in my homebrew and while Dark Creepers and Dark Stalkers are fine upstanding examples of Dark Folkness, I was wondering if there are more Dark Folk being put into the Bestiary 2?

Yeah the Dark Folk are so mysterious to me and I would like to know more about them. What are they anyway? Are they some kind of evil fey from the plane of shadow? Why do they explode in a burst of light when they die? Questions, so many questions... :\

Why do they explode in a burst of light when they die?

Some say that they 'create darkness.' The truth is that they devour light, and contain it within themselves, like a fickle fire that they must extinguish by leaping upon it, to save others from it's hurtful touch and unkind revelations. Upon death, their will falters and all of the light they've contained and locked away inside themselves rushes forth in a surge of destruction, to burn away sheltering darkness and penetrate unwelcome into the secret places where mystery and wonder still lurks.

Ah, a marvellous answer, Set... and naturally you'd know this, as a Deity related to Darkness and Evil, right? :)

Dark Slayer looks like it'd in the Dark Folk camp, but we won't know for certain until the book ships.

Now that the book is out, I can confirm that the dark folk have a new member in their family. :)

To get closer to "knowing" you, of course, Mistress.

He's a detective on the beat. Any good detective knows that if you wanna find the head honcho, you always start from the bottom and work your way up. Underlings rarely hold the same loyalty that the higher ranking officers do, and even if they do, they are usually easier to coerce.
