Feats for a Holy Vindicator

Hi,

Putting together a Cleric8/Holy Vindicator10/Cleric and having trouble with feat selection.

Mostly because the class ability 'Vindicators Shield' really encourages using one. I don't have room for TWF sword and board...
My DPR with only 1h and power attack is gonna suck.

So far I got
Half -elf (Falcata weapon racial Varient- because the Divine Wrath, Divine Judgement and Divine Retribution abilities get higher DC with high crits weapons)

Cleric8 of Indomae
Archon and Heroism Subdomains- for Aura of Wrath/Heroism.

STR 17 (18)
DEX 9
CON 13 (14)
INT 13
WIS 17 (19)
CHA 15
Scores can be rearranged if needed. Note: I hate dumb chats.
Favored Class bonus goes to Skills.

I would consider human.

Goals- Want the char to be good (doesn't have to be awesome) at melee. Make use of a shield or buckler. Keep in mind need a free hand to cast. DPR not suck.
I like some form of combat trick maybe Dazing Assault.

Needs either scribe scrollor craft wand. Prefer quicken.

Concept: Militant ARM of Indomae- kinda guy who puts party first and ba cks up his melee buddies canduel a melee'r (using his spells and auras)

Fun fact, you don't need to wield the shield to get the bonus from Vindicator's Shield. It will, however, boost your AC higher making it probably last longer.

I think your Int is just too high. Unless you're dead set on Combat Expertise, I'd swap your Dex and Int. I see that you don't like dumb characters but 9 isn't dumb, really. Probably above average in Golarion. Alternatively, you could move your points out of Cha a bit for a boost to Dex. I'd just like to see it get to 10 at least.

You're going to have a problem with DPR if you're rocking the shield. You need a buckler if you're going to cast in combat with that hand and you can't bash with it.

I'd seriously consider using Vindicator's Shield on the shield strapped to your back and rock a 2hander. The feats pretty much write themselves from there.

DM allowed meto take Improved Buckler Defense. (3.5 allowed if not too cheesy) So I'll treat him asa 2hander.

Probably will go Combat xpertise, gangup, PA, cleave and dazing assault. The rest on clericy stuff...

any good synergies?

I still haven't MECHANICALLY got my vision for this guy. I was hoping for a Church's Captain of the Guards.

His BAB is OK (provided Stigmata and Divine Power are up)

To hit and Damage:

Your attack at 20 is 17 +5(enhancement)+ 3(belt of physical perfection) +4(str)- 5(PA) = 24/19/14
With Divine Power :30/30/25/20
Aura of Heroism = +2 to attack
Stigmata= Worth either ½ HV level (max +5) to one of Attack/Damage/AC/Saving Throws.
Divine Power and Stigmata= 35/35/30/25/20

Damage is d8 +6(STRw/belt)+15(PA)+5(enhancement)+1d6(sonic) av 33 per hit. With Divine Power =39 per hit.

So His full attack is OK.
His 8th level domain abilities are also 'captainy, leader type stuff' but I don't think his feats reflect it.

Maybe the step up line needs to go...
Swift aid could be good but the +1 bonus is small. Regular aid another is +2.
Combat Expertise, Gangup emphasises teamwork but I don't think he'll struggle with hitting...

Maybe some Combat Manuvere's?
I think his damage and hits are good (for a cleric) but I'm thinking a 'leader' type char. Think Hector from the movie 'Troy'
