Are raging barbarians still not allowed to use command words in Pathfinder?
I don't think you'd be prohibited from using command-word activated items. You aren't prohibited from talking, so I don't see why you couldn't activate a Ring of Invisibility, for example. That doesn't seem to require patience or concentration, nor involve Dex, Cha, or Int based skills. Seems fair game to me.

Yeah the extra text in the 3.5 Rage ability is missing in the Pathfinder version... but we all know how things are all over the book. I'm just checking to see if I missed it or if I can tell my players that restriction is gone...

They did a lot of ctrl C - ctrl V action here so this probably was purposely done. Barbarians got nerfed big time even with what they got in the APG. I would give it to them.

I have a problem with the whole ring activation aspect of rings.
Fortunitely, my Rogue took some levels in Bard. Now he sings instead of running in and getting his surprise attack damage on the enemy. He doesn't need to wait till his next turn to activate his ring of invisability when the monsters do multi-dice damage. There should be a gem of activation that activates the item when programmed, but takes up the augment slot on the ring, belt, bracers, armor, or weapon it is attached to. I still think the broach of shielding should be an augment item attached to a cape.
In other words, the ring of invisability should self activate at the end of the wearer's turn.
